Gender ideologues took another step toward advancing their rainbow mafia in the United Kingdom as new guidance outlined the requirement for monetary support under threat of prosecution.
Updated in Dec. 2022 based on the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, new sections of the UK’s Code for the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) coming into force throughout 2023 included guidance on “Trans and non-binary victims.”
Friday, the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) UK shed light on this guidance that not only appeared to make family members financially beholden to the whims of those suffering from a potential mental illness but forced police officers to take action against parents choosing not to entertain what they see as the delusions of their children.
“Although not an exhausted list, some examples of how trans and non-binary people may be abused by intimate partners or family members include … Withholding money for transitioning,” CPS guidance stated with other examples provided including “Refusing to use their preferred name or pronoun” and “Threatening or sharing pre-transition images.”
Commenting on the new guidance, former CPS prosecutor Jeremiah Igunnubole, legal counsel for ADF UK, said the rule would force law enforcement and government officials into the “intensely difficult and inappropriate position of making politicised judgments against parents,” as parents caught in violation “are now open to prosecution for abuse.”
“This guidance will only serve to confuse prosecutors and the public,” Igunnubole went on. “The guidance fails to acknowledge the fact that there is no legal obligation for anyone to use the ‘preferred pronouns’ of any other person. Furthermore, the fact that parents have the primary responsibility for the development and upbringing of their children is protected in international law.”
The move in the UK, where freedom of speech is not guaranteed as it is in the United States, is only the latest in ongoing attempts, even domestically, to control how people interact with the gender confused.
Previously, it was reported that Michigan’s House of Representatives is attempting to impose a $10,000 fine and/or up to five years imprisonment for “misgendering” as the act would be considered “hate speech” and therefore a felony in the state.
Similarly, Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs made two executive orders at the end of June laying the groundwork to separate parents from their children if they do not fully support a chosen “gender identity.”

“This is the latest misstep in a trend towards guidance which fails to give adequate weight to fundamental freedoms of speech, of conscience, of religion and more,” Igunnubole continued on the CPS guidance.
“We urge the CPS to reverse this clampdown on parental primacy and the freedom of families to navigate these issues in the way they consider most appropriate,” he added. “ADF UK stands ready to defend the rights of parents and families to speak and act in accordance with their conscience and in their children’s interests.”
Commenting on the guidance, a CPS spokesperson defended their efforts to Fox News Digital and argued, “Domestic abuse is a severe crime and leaves victims with a lasting impact. Our guidance, which was updated following a public consultation, lists the types of abuse all victims face through physical and non-physical abuse. This assists prosecutors to ensure that any victim, regardless of who they are, can get justice for the abuse they have faced.”
“The list is not exhaustive and should be used as guidance, when considering appropriate charges in line with our legal test,” the spokesperson added.
