Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) falsely claimed that GOP frontrunner Donald J. Trump was “closely” tied to the 2015 massacre of black parishioners at a Charleston church.
With President Joe Biden’s reelection strategy of whipping up racial resentment and promoting the “insurrection” hoax now out in the open, one of his top allies appeared on CNN to blame the former president for the murderous actions of the racist shooter Dylann Roof.
On Sunday morning’s edition of “State of the Union” the South Carolina Democrat was asked whether it was fair for Biden to tie the shocking mass killing to Trump, which he will do on Monday when he speaks at the site of the hate crime that shocked America.

“What are you hoping to hear from President Biden?” Tapper asked his guest. “And is it fair to tie in any way what happened at the Emanuel AME Church to Donald Trump? Donald Trump had barely launched his campaign when that attack happened.”
“I think it is very clear that Donald Trump’s utterances way back, before Charlottesville, or at the time of Charlottesville, ties him to what happened at Mother Emanuel,” the congressman replied. “The fact of the matter is, that young man went into that church’s basement, joined with those worshipers in Bible study, and murdered them. And he said at the time that he was attempting to create a race war.”
“But the people of Charleston, South Carolina, the families of the affected victims all came together to get beyond hate and reach out to help you continue this pursuit of a more perfect union,” he added. “Donald Trump looked at those people in Charlottesville and said that there were good people on both sides, and those people were uttering things like, Jews will not replace us. That is a religion.”
“The A.M.E. church, that Emmanuel, that is religion. And Donald Trump has said things in support of those activities. That ties him closely to what happened at Mother Emanuel,” Clyburn said, also adding the very fine people “on both sides” lie that served Biden so well during the 2020 campaign.
The activist Tapper didn’t bother to counter with the simple fact that Trump wasn’t president when the heinous incident took place, Barack Obama with Joe Biden as his sidekick.
The so-called “fact checkers” couldn’t be bothered to do their jobs so X users did, calling B.S. on Clyburn’s incendiary false claim.

Biden, who lied to the American people when he promised to be a uniter, will rip the scab off the still-healing wound with another foray into the shameful demagoguery that has marked his lamentable tenure as the nation’s leader when he follows Clyburn with his own lies using the Mother Emanuel Church as his bully pulpit.
