In what amounts to a case of being careful what you ask for, an apparent homeowner upset over a patio he had built went off on the contractor and his crew resulting in a surprising outcome.
“You did it wrong! You did it wrong,” the man said in a video clip making the rounds. “And if I have to call somebody to get them out here to finish this job, I will.”
At this point, a loud thumping can be heard off-camera, and the man quickly pulls out his phone to record the action. The person filming the exchange slowly pans to his right to show a man, presumed to be the contractor, bashing the newly-finished patio with a sledgehammer.
“Here’s how he deals with his clients — here’s how he deals with it. Brings the whole crew, whines all day long about how he’s losing money and he’s busting up a pad that they did wrong. They did it wrong here,” the man says before getting closer to capture the crew sitting off to the side watching events transpire.
“Here’s the guys you want to watch out for. They did it wrong, they did it wrong and they’re busting it up and I’m calling the police right now,” the disgruntled man says.
This appears to spur another worker to pick up a sledgehammer and join in on the fun, as seen below:

There’s no way to tell if the patio was done wrong or if the man had a legitimate complaint. It’s also not clear whether he paid for the project or not — the actions of the crew suggest he did not.
And while you can’t tell if the dissatisfied homeowner is right or not, his demeanor certainly influenced social media users responding to the video.
Here’s a quick sampling of some of those responses, as seen on X:
Looks great. Just trying to get out of paying.

Dudes a scammer, I hope no contractors work on his place again.

If he didn’t pay then the concrete belongs to the dude who put it down, he’s just taking back his property. Call the police all you want.

Well, if it was truly wrong the homeowner would be happy it is being removed so it can be corrected . Seems more like he’s just pissed he’s not getting a free job.
