Cornyn challenged Republicans to condemn Bo French. They answered.

Dividing lines on immigration policy found an outgoing RINO calling on his GOP peers “to condemn the intolerance and racism” allegedly peddled by a statewide nominee.

Contrasted against the America First restoration of national sovereignty priorities of President Donald Trump’s administration, establishment Republicans have continued to act in favor of the status quo.

Now, after suffering a primary loss aided by an exclamation point to a RINO record via SAVE America Act opposition, outgoing Texas Sen. John Cornyn (R) called on fellow elected officials to condemn the Republican nominee for Texas Railroad Commissioner Bo French about the growing prevalence of “illegal aliens and foreign nationals.”

Sunday morning, French posted an image of burnt orange-bedecked revelers in the wake of Saturday’s college football victory over Ohio State with the caption, “I heard UT graduation this year looked like this. I didn’t believe it. The problem is now obviously far worse than anyone imagined.”

Given the prevalence of non-white individuals at the forefront of the image, Cornyn reacted to the post, “This is the Republican nominee for statewide office. Are other Republican elected officials going to condemn the intolerance and racism, or look the other way while it becomes normalized. This is how great political parties self-destruct. Sad.”

While French would go on to offer his own rebuttals of the senator who lost a primary challenge to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R), so to did nationally syndicated radio host Dana Loesch.

The Texan voter reminded of Cornyn’s own previous remark on the increasing population of Indians in the Lone Star State as she shared a post from the Times of India with the headline, “‘Why Dallas looks like New Delhi’: Texas senator John Cornyn slammed for now-deleted ‘Welcome to Indian century’ post.”

For his part, French first reacted, “Our state’s institutions have been overrun by illegal aliens and foreign nationals because of RINOs like John Cornyn who have cheered for them over our own citizens. He and the other America Last losers are mad that Texas Republicans are starting to put America First.”

Sharing data that detailed roughly 12.5% of students at the University of Texas at Austin are foreigners on visas, he went on to state, “Generations of Texans have invested billions of dollars into UT. Today it is filled with foreign nationals and Leftists who boo Ted Cruz. John Cornyn says we should accept decline. The voters I talk to want to return our institutions to serving the interests of citizens.”

Of course, as Texans have continued to worry about whether or not a change in leadership in Austin would see the GOP behave as though it has been in the majority after booting state Rep. Dade Phelan (R) as speaker of the Texas House, his successor, state Rep. Dustin Burrows (R) earned “kudos” from Cornyn for reacting, “You can oppose immigration policy without demeaning people because of their race or ethnicity — this post has crossed the line. Delete it @bofrench.”
