Crazed Florida woman charges cop with knife, instantly made to regret it

Disturbing video footage showed the moment a Florida woman learned a hard lesson after charging a police officer with a knife.

Police arrested 41-year-old Tikila Walker this week after the incident two weeks prior, in which she allegedly charged at officers with a 16-inch knife, forcing them to respond with gunfire.

The Port Saint Joe Police Department released the bodycam footage this week, which showed the escalating interaction between law enforcement and the woman who refused to comply with orders.

“The video documents several points of contact made with Walker throughout the day, after she was involved in multiple hit-and-run incidents,” WMBB reported. “The footage also shows attempts made to disarm Walker with a taser. But Port Saint Joe Police Chief Jake Richards says Walker was unfazed by the attempts.”

“The deputy broke the passenger-side window and deployed a Taser seven times with no apparent effect,” the Port Saint Joe Police Dept. video noted. “During this time, Ms. Walker swung the knife at the deputy from inside her vehicle.”

The footage showed that when Walker got out of the vehicle, despite being tased, she raised the knife over her head and headed right at Sergeant Morrison, who fired at her.

Officer Lee also reportedly shot at the suspect.

“She came at me with a knife, what the hell did you expect me to do?” Morrison could be heard telling witnesses who objected to the use of the gun.

Walker was arrested by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office on multiple charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence.

She was treated at a local hospital for two gunshot wounds following the incident last month.
