President Donald Trump’s efforts to beautify Washington, D.C., have earned him rare praise from the left.
Reporter Martin Austermuhle posted a photo on X showing a fountain at the Meridian Hill/Malcolm X Park actually flowing with water, something that hasn’t been seen in “years.” He notes that the “[National Park Service] started work on the long-dry fountain late last year, as part of a broader project to refurbish the park.”
This caught the attention of ActBlue communications strategist Carter Christensen.

Don’t you silly Democrats realize that as soon as Dems take power again everything will start to decay? They don’t want this restoration. Their goal is destruction. Why don’t their constituents see it?

That’s great to see! (As former resident of that neighborhood many years ago). The fountain is so beautiful and the park is such a hidden gem

As a neighbor of Meridian Hill Park, I couldn’t be more thrilled to see the fountain working! Hope it stays on from now on.
