Every woman dreams of grand gestures of romance from their partner, but some people believe this may have been too much.
Billionaire Meta owner Mark Zuckerberg unveiled the statue he had built of his wife, a nod to an old tradition.
“Bringing back the Roman tradition of making sculptures of your wife,” the tech mogul wrote on Instagram.

The statue, created by artist Daniel Arsham, appears to be made of similar materials as a previous sculpture he created for a Venetian art exhibit using crystal and volcanic ash.

The grandiose gesture was off-putting to many, who voiced their displeasure on X:
