Crickets from media over Cory Booker’s ‘Nazi salute’ gesture

The media hysterically attacked Elon Musk over a patriotic gesture that they claimed was a “Nazi” salute, yet there was the sound of crickets when a Democrat senator did the same thing over the weekend.

During an appearance at the California Democratic Party Convention, Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) capped off his emotional rant with what if he were a Republican, would have been condemned 24/7 as one of the notorious stiff-armed salutes to Hitler that were gestures of loyalty to Der Führer during Nazi Germany’s heyday.

On the day of President Donald J. Trump’s inauguration, the now-former DOGE chief extended his arm after touching his heart during a celebration at Capitol One Arena only to have the liars and bad actors claim that he was sending out a secret message to an army of MAGA white supremacists, the first hoax of the incoming administration.

The reaction was typically over the top with major media outlets insisting that Musk fired off a “Sieg Heil” salute, and as is usually the case, the big lie was promoted by CNN, the once reputable cable news network that now functions nearly solely as a purveyor of anti-Trump propaganda.

And yet when Booker thrust out his own arm in a “Sieg Heil” salute, there was no similar outrage, a prime example of the hypocrisy and double standards of the legacy media which have lead to a widespread collapse in public trust of the press which acts as an unofficial public relations and disinformation arm of the DNC.

X users didn’t hesitate to point out the disparity in coverage.

“Cory Booker was obviously just waving to the crowd. Anyone who claims his wave is the same as Elon Musk’s gesture is operating in bad faith,” a spokesperson for Booker told Newsweek. “The differences between the two are obvious to anyone without an agenda.”

The tale of two salutes is yet one more reason for Americans to hate the media.
