Former President Donald J. Trump capped off a tumultuous week by taking in the action at a UFC event in Miami on Saturday, joining Kid Rock and boxing great Mike Tyson and drawing a rousing response from the crowd when his presence was announced.
Days after being at the center of a media spectacle surrounding his arrest in New York City on trumped-up charges brought by George Soros-backed Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, the 2024 GOP frontrunner showed up at the Kaseya Center in downtown Miami where he joined his two famous fellow spectators along with UFC president Dana White at ringside to watch the main event, a fight featuring Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira as well as a match-up between fighters Jorge Masvidal, who is an outspoken MAGA supporter, and his opponent, Gilbert Burns.

Trump’s surprise appearance at the UFC 287 event drew an enthusiastic response from the nearly 20,000 who were in attendance as he walked into the arena as music pulsated through the sound system and he was bathed in flashing lights with the crowd going absolutely wild as he made his way to a ringside seat.
Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. who was also at the event posted a picture of the “legends” to his social media.

Videos and pictures of the event were posted to social media, one showing the embattled ex-POTUS acknowledging the love of the crowd which broke into chants of “USA! USA! USA!” in a show of love for Trump, a man who has taken years of body blows from a corrupt political establishment, the weaponized legal system and a media that has portrayed him as the Great Satan, yet has remained standing, serving as an inspiration to millions of Americans.

Masvidal gave a shout-out to Trump from the ring while exhorting the crowd to chant “Let’s Go Brandon,” the catchy slogan adopted by critics of deeply unpopular authoritarian President Joe Biden after an NBC Sports reporter tried in vain to spin NASCAR fans chanting “F**k Joe Biden” after a 2021 race at Talladega Superspeedway when she was interviewing winning driver Brandon Brown.

“I just want to say, greatest president in the history of the world, sitting right there,” he said, gesturing toward Trump. “I love that guy! We also got the greatest governor of all time here in Florida. Let’s keep Florida free. A red state,” Masvidal added, giving Florida Governor Ron DeSantis his props as well.
“Let’s Go Brandon!” he shouted as the crowd began chanting his call to take that “motherf**ker out of power and replace him.”
Despite his hellish week, Trump appeared to be relaxed and in his element, especially in the company of Kid Rock who triggered leftists last week when he shot up several cases of Bud Light beer after the company debuted ads featuring a transgender TikTok influencer to plug its product.

Trump is also facing jeopardy to his political hopes and freedom from other investigations in addition to Bragg’s witch hunt, including a special counsel tabbed by Biden’s vicious hatchet man, Attorney General Merrick Garland.
But as the reception in Miami shows, there will be no deterring his loyal supporters.
