In the latest example of the nihilism of climate doomsday cultists, activists attempted to deface the Mona Lisa, the priceless painting by artist Leonardo da Vinci that is displayed at the Louvre in Paris.
On Sunday, members of the French eco-commie group Riposte Alimentaire which translates roughly to “Food Response” acted out in the museum’s “Salle des Etats” when they broke out cans of bright orange pumpkin soup and sprayed the protective glass covering the artwork that da Vinci painted in the early 1500s.

In video footage of the malicious criminal act, two females who were identified as 24-year-old named Sasha and her older accomplice, 63-year-old Marie-Juliette, crossed the wooden railing barrier and proudly stood in front of their vandalism with the younger woman displaying the name of the left-wing group on her shirt as the soup dripped down from the glass.
“What’s the most important thing? Art, or right to a healthy and sustainable food?” The activists shouted, adding, “Our farming system is sick. Our farmers are dying at work.”
“Two activists from the environmental movement ‘Riposte Alimentaire’ sprayed pumpkin soup on the armoured glass protecting the Mona Lisa, this Sunday, January 28, 2024, around 10am (4aET),” the museum said in a statement, according to CNN.
“In France, one in three people skip meals due to lack of means,” the group said in a statement posted in French but translated to English. “At the same time, 20% of the food produced is thrown away. Our model stigmatizes the most precarious and does not respect our fundamental right to food.”
Fortunately, the painting itself wasn’t damaged but the incident shows the utter disdain that the climate change movement has for western civilization which it is increasingly obvious that they want to destroy.
The attempted desecration of what may be the world’s most recognizable painting drew a strong reaction from X users.
“These climate t*rr*rists need to be arrested and given long prison sentences. This needs to stop,” wrote the popular Libs of TikTok account.

“Protesters who do this and block traffic need to start getting such long prison sentences that no one will ever do it again. It’s long past time coddling these people,” said Outkick founder and nationally syndicated radio host Clay Travis.

“Ah, yes. Defacing the Mona Lisa with soup will immediately make everyone stop burning & developing fossil fuels. Great idea,” former NCAA women’s swimming star Riley Gaines wrote. “Lock them up.”

The overwhelming number of user takes indicates a growing weariness of the disrespectful and disruptive tactics that have become commonplace in the modern era of the global left-wing cultural revolution.

You know, if security shot a few of these protestors, this whole problem would stop.
Someone explain to me the downside.

That’s what is wrong with society, laws are no longer enforced, and there are no consequences to the actions.

It’s inevitable that sooner or later the complete lack of accountability will embolden the climate cult to move beyond mere acts of vandalism into overt terrorism that will cost people their lives.
