Surveillance footage from an Ohio home showed a terrifying encounter as a suspect threatened to kill a man “in the name of Allah.”
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office reported on the arrest of a Cincinnati man who was seen outside of a home in Franklin Township, where video captured him apparently praying in the driveway before approaching the front door with a knife.
“Anthony Tyrone Jessie Long, 23, was taken into custody and charged with aggravated menacing and aggravated trespassing after deputies were called to a home just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday, April 5, on reports of a suspicious person, records from the sheriff’s office state,” WXIX reported.

Tiffany Miller recounted the experience in a Facebook post, writing that the man repeatedly knocked on the door of the home after pulling into their driveway with his headlights off and kneeling, praying.
“After returning to his vehicle and sitting there for some time, he walked up our driveway and then, to my front door, knocking,” Miller wrote. “Back to the car when no answer and 2 mins later back to the front door knocking louder this time. We were downstairs sleeping. I woke up and walked up thinking my daughter was locked out and nope, it wasn’t her. It was a man I didn’t know.”
“When one of our daughters arrived home shortly afterward, he was still outside sitting in his car. At that point, Andy went out to confront him. The man immediately exited his vehicle, began making explicit threats to kill him, repeatedly invoking religious language, and started moving closer in an aggressive manner. Specifically stating ‘I’m gonna kill you in the name of Allah,'” the post continued.
Miller’s husband then began retreating as he shouted for their daughter to drive away.
“About 15 minutes later, Clearcreek police were dispatched to a traffic stop near Bunnell Hill and State Route 122 to a caller who said they were being followed by a vehicle that tried to ram them,” WXIX reported. “The driver who called 911 led the vehicle to a Clearcreek police station, where officers detained the man, identified as Long, who matched the description of the suspicious person wanted for threatening the Franklin Township family.”
Long is being held at the Warren County Jail on a $1,500 cash only bond for the Clearcreek incident. There is also a $75,000 bond for the Franklin Township incident.
