‘Damn right’: Deputy AG Blanche ‘baffled’ over objections to ICE at polling stations

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche was baffled as to why anyone would object to ICE agents being present at polling stations.

Appearing at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday, Blanche said “election integrity” should be “the most nonpartisan issue we have,” saying it “doesn’t make sense” why anyone would have a problem with ICE doing its part to ensure secure elections.

“Why is there an objection to sending ICE to polling stations?” he asked. “Illegals can’t vote. It doesn’t make any sense.”

When reminded that illegal immigrants can vote, even though they shouldn’t, Blanche added, “Amen, that’s right, what is the objection?”

“You all probably had to show your ID five times since you came into this place,” the Trump official told the CPAC crowd. “It baffles me.”

“And you’re right, it’s not completely my purview, except that we’re charging and indicting illegals who voted in any election fraud case that we can,” Blanche added. “We’ve charged 20 times more than was charged under Biden in one year, and we’re going to keep on doing that.”

Of course, Democrats do oppose the idea. The same Democrats who opened our borders and allowed an invasion of 15-20 million illegal immigrants in four short years. The same Democrats who demonize ICE agents as Nazis and members of the Gestapo simply for enforcing U.S. immigration laws and deporting criminal aliens.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
