UFC President Dana White revealed that Ultimate Fighting enthusiasts may be able to win free tickets to attend the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House in June.
Speaking on “My View with Lara Trump” over the weekend, White explained that he and President Donald Trump will be giving away tens of thousands of tickets to fans who can enjoy the first-ever live fight to be held at the White House as the nation celebrates its 250th birthday.
White noted that the president wants the event, which will take place on his birthday on June 14, to be “mostly for the military,” with a temporary arena to be built that will hold 4,300 people.

Fans will be able to see the fight from the Ellipse, the public park south of the White House, White explained, telling host Lara Trump that there will be giant screens, stages, and music set up there.
“If you are a fan of the UFC and especially if you have never been to Washington, D.C., we’re going to give away about 85,000 tickets,” he said.
“We’re going to be doing all kinds of things, you know, in D.C. for fans, and it’s really a cool city… If you’re a UFC fan, this is absolutely positively the time to come to D.C.,” White revealed, noting that fans should register for the free tickets.
Noting that this will be the first outdoor event for the UFC, White admitted he is not a fan, as it can be “way too unpredictable.”
“If it rains, we’re going. If it snows, we’re going. The only thing that will stop us is lightning. But we’re working with the military,” he said. “The military knows the weather 10 days out. They will notify us every two hours, 10 days out. In seven days, they will tell us every hour.”
White explained that the event could be moved earlier or later in the day, depending on the final weather.
“So these are all things that we’ll be playing with the week of the event on top of all the other things that we will have going on, which we never had to deal with,” he said. “The only time I’d ever agreed to do an outdoor event was in Abu Dhabi… I could be the weatherman in Abu Dhabi, and I would be right every time.”
