‘Dangerous and outrageous’: Garland raises eyebrows with warning about criticizing the DOJ

Attorney General Merrick Garland warned on Thursday that it’s very “dangerous and outrageous” for anyone to dare criticize the Justice Department and its blatant chicanery and machinations.

Speaking to DOJ staff from the Justice Department’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., he portrayed the department as the giant victim of mean Americans who refuse to get with the program and bend the knee.

Listen to some of what he said below:

He started by decrying the so-called “escalation of attacks” (criticism) the department has faced ever since he assumed office.

As is typical of leftist partisans, he attributed all the criticism to “conspiracy theories, dangerous falsehoods, efforts to bully and intimidate career public servants by repeatedly and publicly singling them out, and threats of actual violence.”

“It is dangerous to target and intimidate individual employees of this Department simply for doing their jobs,”  he added. “And it is outrageous that you have to face these unfounded attacks because you are doing what is right and upholding the rule of law.”

Uh-huh…

Keep in mind this same DOJ has prosecuted non-violent, peaceful pro-life activists while doing nothing — absolutely nothing — about all the attacks on churches and pregnancy centers that occurred after Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court in 2022.

Responding to Garland’s whining and grievances, social media users pounced on him for being so utterly full of it.

Look:

Garland later dubiously claimed that the Biden-Harris DOJ isn’t in the business of pursuing politically motivated prosecutions.

“Federal prosecutors and agents may never make a decision regarding an investigation or prosecution for the purpose of affecting any election or the purpose of giving an advantage or disadvantage to any candidate or political party!” he claimed.

Then why did the DOJ choose to let President Joe Biden off the hook for possessing classified documents but prosecute former President Donald Trump for the same crime!?

And why was outspoken dissident Tulsi Gabbard put on the terrorist watch list?
