A police cruiser was attacked by masked hoodlums during an illegal street takeover in Montgomery County, Maryland.
The group hijacked the intersection of East-West Highway and Connecticut Avenue, blocked traffic and performed high-speed “donuts” for a gathered audience. It didn’t take officers long to move in on the group and make moves to protect the public from their reckless antics, but dozens of vehicles quickly overwhelmed their efforts. Dashcam video from one police cruiser shows multiple people in masks descending on the vehicle, attempting to stop it.

Why are you allowing these so-called street takeovers?
Arrest everyone involved and confiscate their vehicles.— Real Hockey#12 (@RealHockey12) February 23, 2026

MoCoPo: Yet police robots cannot patrol public parking garages because immigrants have objected. Good luck identifying these guys. Does the county have cameras on the streets?

Go ask Wes Moore. He’s responsible for promoting this behavior and being against the side of law and order.

Maybe your officers could make some arrests on the scene? This is utterly embarrassing, you and the Maryland State Police simply pushed them to Virginia.
You lost all respect ( not to do this to and in front of the police ) necessary to enforce the law.
