It’s clear that former President Donald J. Trump chose the perfect running mate by the intensity of the smear campaign that has been unleashed against Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) who has leftists spitting venom and lies.
One particularly dishonest line of attack is a clip of the Ohio Republican advocating for tax breaks for people who have children which is being spun to portray the senator as being hostile to the “childless cat ladies” who comprise a sizable chunk of the modern Democratic party’s base.
Lunging for the bait dangled by the Kamala Harris campaign was Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy who said that Vance sounds like “a moron” for his “f**king idiotic” idea, sharing the clip of Vance’s interview with Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA.
This is fucking idiotic. You want me to pay more taxes to take care of other people’s kids? We sure this dude is a Republican? Sounds like a moron. If you can’t afford a big family don’t have a ton of kids. pic.twitter.com/oPCYMkq3G1

“This is f**king idiotic. You want me to pay more taxes to take care of other people’s kids? We sure this dude is a Republican? Sounds like a moron. If you can’t afford a big family don’t have a ton of kids,” the outspoken pizza connoisseur wrote on X, sharing a clip of the GOP vice presidential candidate.
But Portnoy – like others who fell for Team Harris’s disinformation – failed to understand that the concept has long existed and is known as the child tax credit, which has been in place for decades.
X users reacted to his misinformed attack on Vance, schooling him on the facts.
The child tax credit has been in place since the 1990s — meaning that non-parents have paid more in taxes for decades — everyone on Twitter seems to have forgotten this today. https://t.co/7XPJsD3DoB

Ever heard of the child tax credit? You don’t really understand how things work do you.
Do you enjoy paying for people’s college debt?

Talk to your accountant and ask him about the child tax credit.

BAD take bruh
Look up the child tax credit
— Hodgetwins (@hodgetwins) July 26, 2024
So you are against a child tax credit. You keep showing your stupidity.
— Spitfire (@DogRightGirl) July 26, 2024
He didn’t say he’d raise your taxes for not having kids. He said he’d give a tax break to families with multiple children.
Do you oppose tax breaks for families? Because we have that already. Nobody is against that … except Kamala’s weird, anti-family campaign.

Dave Doesn’t Realize This is Exactly What’s Already Been Happening For The Last 27 Years Since “Child Tax Credits” Went Into Law…
— (@Emilio2763) July 26, 2024
Ur falling for the psyop Dave. We should be incentivizing or making it easier for American family formation. There’s nothing more conservative than that. You’re already paying for all the illegals crossing the border and increasing the labor supply/population who don’t pay taxes…

Retard alert
Not Vance, you.

“The Child Tax Credit is one of the nation’s strongest tools to provide tens of millions of families with some support and breathing room while raising children. It has also being shown to be one of the most effective tools ever for lowering child poverty.” The White House states on its website.
