Dazed & confused: Jasmine Crockett tells Jim Acosta that Republicans ‘really like me’

U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) is claiming Republicans “really like me,” but the radical left lawmaker may be confusing the affection members of the opposing party have for her.

In an interview with former CNN host Jim Acosta, the Democrat, sometimes called “Ghetto Barbie,” went on about how Republicans fawn over her.

“Republicans poll all the time and I have no idea what all is happening in their polling, but I can tell you in real life that I’ve had a number of Republicans approach me as they see me out and they say, ‘Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I really like you. Like we come from completely different parties, but I believe that you are fighting for the people. I believe that you are trying to do what is best for all of us,” Crockett said.

She went on to say that these Republicans allegedly tell her that they may disagree with how she “gets there,” but that they “agree with your fight.”

“And I think that what’s scary for them is this idea that it’s not just say black folk that are listening to me, right? Or it’s not just like super liberal folk,” Crockett continued. “It’s this idea that, you know, people who even aren’t Democrats would actually listen to what I have to say.”

Of course, they have a name for Republicans that may feel this way about a race-baiting, progressive-left, Trump-hating Democrat — RINO, which stands for Republican in name only.

Members of the GOP often encourage Democrats to keep Crockett out in front as the voice of the party, but it’s because they understand that she represents what voters are now rejecting.

As might be expected, social media users were a bit skeptical over her claim — here’s a quick sampling of the responses to the story, as seen on X:
