U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is getting maximum value out of being heckled by comedian Alex Stein on the steps of the U.S. Capitol without realizing how she is proving again just how unserious she is as a public figure.
As for Stein, his actions serve as the latest example that the cancel culture in alive and well in America when you dare cross the progressive left, as the comedian saw a scheduled gig in DC get canceled after calling AOC a “big booty Latina” that while very sexy, still “wants to kill babies.”
A cancelation that Stein attributed directly to Ocasio-Cortez.
He tweeted, “Omg @AOC got the @dcartscenter to Cancel my Comedy Show tonight! Full refund for the people that bought Tickets! If you still want to see me perform come to The Capitol tonight at 9:30pm!”

The venue reportedly cited “recent events brought to our attention,” and an inability to provide proper security as the reasons — the crude heckling of the radical left lawmaker is being characterized as a “sexual assault” by the perpetually offended left.
Statement from DC Arts Center: In light of recent events brought to our attention, and our inability as a small non-profit to provide the level of security…we have made the decision to cancel tonight’s performance.

In her element of playing the victim, Ocasio-Cortez not only talked about wanting to violently assault Stein she also set her sights on the U.S. Capitol Police after a nearby officer failed to intervene — free speech be damned — suggesting some officers conspired with January 6 protesters.
As for the Capitol Police, they were quick to let it be known that they will kowtow to the Democrat-controlled DC power structure. In a statement that said while Stein’s remarks were “inappropriate,” they were “not criminal,” the agency noted that he was stopped by officers who “ran his information.” This being done out of an “abundance of caution.”
Here’s what the Capitol Police had to say about last night’s incident with @AOC :
“…The comments, although inappropriate, are not criminal. In the video, the man never threatened or touched the Congresswoman…”

The statement left no clue as to the timeline of Stein being stopped and Ocasio-Cortez, who whined relentlessly about no action being taken after being heckled, took to Twitter to make sure it was known that Capitol Police set their sights on the comedian AFTER House leadership leaned on them.
“FYI we had to escalate to House leadership to get them to stop him and run his info. They did not until members intervened and pressed them to,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted in reply to Politico reporter Nicholas Wu.
