President-elect Donald J. Trump ended weeks of speculation by picking Kashyap “Kash” Patel to head up the FBI, a move that already has some people feeling extremely nervous.
On Saturday night, Trump announced that the 44-year-old lawyer and former national security advisor is his choice to head up the bureau putting the FBI back in the law enforcement business which was its primary mission before it was transformed into what some would suggest is the Democratic party’s secret police.

“I am proud to announce that Kashyap “Kash” Patel will serve as the next Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Kash is a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and “America First” fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending Justice, and protecting the American People. He played a pivotal role in uncovering the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, standing as an advocate for truth, accountability, and the Constitution,” Trump said in a post to Truth Social.
“He played a pivotal role in uncovering the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, standing as an advocate for truth, accountability, and the Constitution. Kash did an incredible job during my First Term, where he served as Chief of Staff at the Department of Defense, Deputy Director of National Intelligence, and Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council. Kash has also tried over 60 jury trials,” he added.
“This FBI will end the growing crime epidemic in America, dismantle the migrant criminal gangs, and stop the evil scourge of human and drug trafficking across the Border. Kash will work under our great Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to bring back Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity to the FBI,” Trump stated.
A fierce critic of the FBI, Patel helped uncover the Russia-gate hoax that was deployed against Trump during his first term. A disgraceful episode in the nation’s history put into play by the outgoing Barack Obama regime to undermine the new president.
“It is the honor of a lifetime to be nominated by President Trump to serve as Director of the FBI,” Patel said in a statement. “Together, we will restore integrity, accountability, and equal justice to our justice system and return the FBI to its rightful mission: protecting the American people.”
The pick effectively ends the lamentable term of current FBI Director Christopher Wray, a mealy-mouthed corporate lawyer who has allowed partisan politics and “woke” ideology to permeate the nation’s preeminent law enforcement agency, once widely respected but now feared and distrusted by much of America.
“Every day, the men and women of the FBI continue to work to protect Americans from a growing array of threats. Director Wray’s focus remains on the men and women of the FBI, the people we do the work with, and the people we do the work for,” the FBI said in a statement, defending its current leader.

If confirmed, or seated through a recess appointment, Patel will waste no time getting about the business of implementing badly needed reforms, a common theme with his nominees who have already been targeted by media-driven smear campaigns, with some having been the victims of domestic terrorism in the form of threats to them and their family.
“I would shut down the FBI Hoover Building on day one and reopen the next day as a museum of the Deep State,” Patel said during an interview on “The Shawn Ryan Show.”
Patel’s nomination is likely to face a Senate blockade with all Democrats set to oppose him along with GOP Sens. Mitch McConnell, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski who have already made it clear that they will be a bulwark against at least some of Trump’s nominees.
The discredited and corrupt mainstream media is already at work setting the narrative that Patel is an unqualified “loyalist” and “conspiracy theorist” who according to the New York Times, attempted to “discredit the Justice Department’s investigation into Russian efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election in favor of Mr. Trump.”
Judging by the reaction from some of the lawfare malefactors, Trump hit a home run by tapping Patel as the new FBI boss.

Amazing.

Patel is the author of “Government Gangsters” which was praised by Trump as “the roadmap to end the Deep State’s reign.”
“The Deep State is an unelected cabal of tyrants who think they should determine who Americans can and cannot elect as president,” Patel wrote in his book. “Who think they get to decide what the president can and cannot do, and who believe they have the right to choose what the American people can and cannot know.”
