A defiant Rep. George Santos (R-NY) was swarmed by reporters after he pleaded not guilty to a laundry list of alleged crimes that he was indicted for by the Biden regime’s Justice Department, denouncing the charges brought by the feds as a “witch hunt” and insisting that he not only won’t resign but that he intends to run for reelection in his Long Island district next year.
On Wednesday afternoon, the embattled GOP congressman delivered remarks outside of the federal courthouse in Central Islip, NY after he was released on a $500,000 bond following his arrest and arraignment on a baker’s dozen charges including wire fraud and money laundering. And if the press thought that he was going to be humbled by his ordeal, they soon found out the opposite as the combative 34-year-old insisted that he isn’t going to go down without a fight.

“Look, this is the beginning of the ability for me to address and defend myself. We have an indictment. We have the information that the government wants to come after me on and I’m going to comply,” Santos said. “I have been complying throughout this entire process, I have no desire not to comply at this point. They have been gracious in there. Now I’m going to have to go and fight to defend myself.”
“The reality is it’s a witch hunt. Because it makes no sense that in four months, four months, five months, I’m indicted. You have Joe Biden’s entire family receiving…,” he continued, as boos erupted, “deposits…from nine family members receiving money from foreign, from foreign destinations into their bank accounts. It’s been years of exposing. a lot of you here have reported on them, and yet, no investigation is launched into them.”
“I will not resign,” Santos said, also telling the media throng that he plans to run to retain his seat despite being dogged by issues with his truthfulness and now, the regime’s plethora of charges.
The corrupt media was far more interested in their hounding of Santos than Republican lawmakers’ unveiling of evidence of numerous members of President Joe Biden’s family’s shady foreign dealings and the use of a complex network of LLCs to conceal money received from the nation’s adversaries, revelations that in a country with a legitimate media and judicial system, would not only be a massive scandal but an impeachable one as well.
The embattled Republican lawmaker took to Twitter after he spoke to the media mob.

Twitter reacted to the DOJ’s heavy-handed treatment of Santos, especially the convenient timing of his indictment and arrest, coming on the same day as the Oversight Committee Republicans publicly unveiled their case against the Biden clan.
So the department of justice arrested George Santos for relatively minor campaign finance violations on the same day Republicans in the house detailed millions of dollars in illegal payments from China & Ukraine to the Biden crime family. Probably a total timing coincidence.

So @TheJusticeDept can charge George Santos in months but has been sitting on a case against Hunter Biden – where the evidence appears overwhelming – for years?
Santos deserves what he gets. But when did being the President's son turn into a get-out-of-jail-free card?

So the DOJ managed to whip up a case against George Santos in less than a year, but the DOJ still can’t manage to make a decision on Hunter Biden.
And they just happened to arrest Santos on the same day a bribery scheme involving Joe Biden was exposed.
Nothing to see here.

It took the DOJ a few weeks to charge Rep. George Santos (R) with crimes but investigations into Hunter Biden’s laptop are now in year 4 because the DOJ is simply the armed wing of the DNC.

“This indictment seeks to hold Santos accountable for various alleged fraudulent schemes and brazen misrepresentations,” said U.S. Attorney Breon Peace in a statement announcing the congressman’s indictment. “Taken together, the allegations in the indictment charge Santos with relying on repeated dishonesty and deception to ascend to the halls of Congress and enrich himself. He used political contributions to line his pockets, unlawfully applied for unemployment benefits that should have gone to New Yorkers who had lost their jobs due to the pandemic, and lied to the House of Representatives. My Office and our law enforcement partners will continue to aggressively root out corruption and self-dealing from our community’s public institutions and hold public officials accountable to the constituents who elected them.”
