Shocking video shows a portion of the children’s clothing section of a Buena Park, California Target being consumed by flames as shoppers fled.
One customer filmed the incident in which the fire can be seen totally consuming a display in the youth section, despite the efforts of the overhead sprinkler system.

Guillermo Santander was among those who witnessed the fire, explaining that at first, he believed it was Halloween-related.
“We walked in the Target, we see a small flame. We thought it was a Halloween prop. But as we got closer, we heard a pop which was the sprinkler going off. All of a sudden the flame got bigger,” he explained to local news outlet ABC 7 Eyewitness News.
An official cause for the blaze has not been released by authorities, but the matter is under investigation and arson has not yet been ruled out. Thankfully nobody was injured by the flames or smoke inhalation.
A young employee can be seen trying to use a fire extinguisher to battle back the flames, earning praise from social media users who commented on the bizarre scene.
good to see someone putting out the fire calmly rather than screaming repeating the same word over and over filming it and yelling panic.
