Delta pummeled from all sides when flight attendants wearing Palestinian flag pins ignite firestorm

Delta Airlines has come under fire for deleting a response to a tweet complaining about flight attendants wearing Palestinian flag pins, then issuing a groveling apology.

Earlier in the week, an X user posted a screenshot of Delta flight attendants donning what they called “Hamas badges.”

“Since 2001 we take our shoes off in every airport because a terrorist attack in US soil. Now imagine getting into a [Delta] flight and seeing workers with Hamas badges in the air. What do you do?” the account asked on Wednesday.

Initially, Delta responded in what appeared to be a sympathetic manner, angering leftists. This response was quickly deleted by the company.

“I hear you as I’d be terrified as well, personally. Our employees reflect our culture and we do not take it lightly when our policy is not being followed,” the airline’s official account wrote.

In its place was a groveling apology that angered conservatives.

“On Wednesday, we removed a reply that was not in line with our values. We strive for an environment of inclusivity & respect for all, in our communities & our planes. The employee responsible no longer supports Delta’s social channels. We apologize for the hurtful post,” the post reads.

Unfortunately for Delta, neither side of the political aisle was pleased with the situation or its handling.
