Dem governors trip over each other rushing to side with Zelenskyy over Trump

The modern version of the Democratic Party will never be accused of putting America first and a number of high-profile blue state governors predictably sided with an uncouth foreigner over President Donald J. Trump, the duly elected leader of their own country.

Democrats practically fell over themselves to blame the president for Friday’s disastrous Oval Office meeting when Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy disrespected Trump and Vice President JD Vance, arguing with them in front of the media and at least for now, blowing up a negotiated deal for hundreds of millions of dollars in rare earth minerals.

Even though many agreed Zelenskyy was clearly at fault for the diplomatic dumpster fire, the leaders of several blue states took to X to openly declare their support for the inarticulate Eastern European dwarf, a hero of “democracy” even though he rules his country like a tyrant and is refusing to hold elections.

Leading the way was morbidly obese billionaire Governor JB Pritzker of Illinois, an absurd character who has been a media fixture in recent months as he positions himself for a potential 2028 White House run.

“President Trump’s simpering fealty to Vladimir Putin and Russia is embarrassing and dangerous,” Pritzker wrote. “Illinois stands with Ukraine, and so should the White House.”

Unfortunately for the residents of the “Land of Lincoln,” their governor’s focus is on an overseas country when their own state is beset by financial problems, has been overrun by illegal aliens and its top city has a violent crime problem on a level with a third-world country.

Not to be outdone was Pennsylvania’s Josh Shapiro who may be too Jewish to ever have a shot at the Democrat nomination but he firmly stands with Ukraine, despite its dark past of aligning with Hitler and the Nazis during World War II.

Shapiro posted a four paragraph statement to X emphasizing his loyalty to Kyiv’s election-free “democracy” and its disrespectful leader while accusing Trump and Vance of abandoning European allies, who have themselves been abandoning such bedrock Western values as free speech.

The governor’s screed reiterated his support for Zelenskyy whom he joined in Joe Biden’s home town of Scranton to campaign for the doomed Kamala Harris weeks before the 2024 election, autographing munitions in a disgusting photo op that perfectly illustrates how the Democrats have become a party of rabid warmongers.

Harris’s failed running mate, “Tampon Tim” Walz of Minnesota declared that his state stands with the foreigners against Trump.

Also declaring “Slava Ukraini” was New York Governor Kathy Hochul who heads up another failing state and is currently being sued by the Trump administration over the non-enforcement of federal immigration laws. The Democrat kept hers short and sweet and all about muh Putin.

“Ukraine is our ally. Putin is not. It’s not complicated,” she wrote. “I’m proud to be governor of the state with the largest Ukrainian population in America. This president may not stand with democracy, but we will.”

Even though their states are in decline, the governors are making it clear that their own citizens can go straight to hell because they bleed blue and yellow and devotion to a tinpot foreign dictator and his corrupt country comes first, especially when Trump is involved.
