Democrats are once again smearing President Donald Trump by twisting his words, and the White House fired back on Monday.
This time, Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) accused the president of racism, claiming he employed secret code words for “white power.” The Democrat, who was charged with assaulting an immigration officer outside of a New Jersey detention center, raised the alarm over Trump’s use of the phrase “liberation day.”
“When Trump opens his mouth to say ‘it’s liberation day’ he’s really screaming out White Power! Modern day racism!” she posted last week before taking her bizarre claims to an interview.

“I think there’s an ultimate agenda of this administration to do these types of things,” she said on the “Defending Democracy with Marc Elias” podcast as she raged against Trump’s control of Washington, D.C.’s police department and the deployment of National Guard troops.
“Sic the military on the very people that they’re supposed to be protecting in these cities and then expect a certain response so that it can escalate — I truly believe that that’s what the president hopes for,” she ranted.

“When he says, ‘Oh, it’s liberation day and all of these things, those are ways of him saying, Oh, it’s white power. It’s what I want to do.’ Those are racist remarks. His number one targets are cities that are led by black mayors. His number one targets are cities, our sanctuary cities that support immigration,” the Democrat claimed.
“When he says, ‘Oh,’ you know, ‘it’s Liberation Day,’ and all of these things, those are, you know, ways of him saying, ‘Oh, it’s white power,’” McIver said.
White House spokesman Harrison Fields mocked the congresswoman as an “unserious person.”
“LaMonica McIver, whose claim to fame was assaulting federal agents, is an unserious person whose comments are nothing more than a political stunt, much like her attempted catfight in front of an ICE facility,” Fields told the New York Post.
“Congress would be better off if she left, and the people of New Jersey would benefit greatly if she pursued her apparent passion for street fighting,” he added.
McIver succeeded in, once again, showing the hypocrisy of Democrats as she attacked Trump but remained mum when California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom recently used the same words in a post.
