Democrats aren’t stopping at wanting to confiscate Elon Musk’s wealth as one called for accountability, alleging the trillionaire could be responsible for the deaths of millions of kids.

Since the initial public offering of SpaceX, leftists have had a new category of wealth to aspire to redistribute as Musk climbed above billionaire status and firmly cemented his position as the world’s richest man. Adding incentive for voter turnout on top of plans to go after President Donald Trump, California Rep. Ro Khanna (D) argued in favor of investigating Musk under a Democrat controlled Congress over “4.5 million children … he possibly sentenced to death …”
The idea was advanced on the “I’ve Had It” podcast when co-host Jennifer Welch asked if House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) becomes speaker, “are y’all gonna hammer down on them in the House?”
“I do believe that once we take power, there has to be accountability,” said Khanna, who’d brought up the economy, Iran, and the Epstein files as motivating factors for get-out-the-vote efforts. “There needs to be accountability for Elon Musk. You know, they’re celebrating that he created 4,400 millionaires, but they don’t talk about the 4.5 million children around the world who he possibly sentenced to death by dismantling USAID.”
“He needs to answer for that. He needs to be subpoenaed. He needs to face investigation. He needs to answer for what he did with DOGE. It’s not just ‘let’s move on,'” insisted the member of the House Oversight Committee.
The suggestion that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) putting an end to the long unscrutinized flow of U.S taxpayer money out of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) equated to a death sentence for people, particularly in other countries, has been circulating since the effort to cut waste, fraud and abuse began in early 2025.
Khanna wasn’t alone in peddling it anew as commentator Bakari Sellers made a similar pitch after the SpaceX IPO, accusing Musk of being a “white supremacist.”
“This is the same person who took a hatchet to USAID, and the end result of what we’re seeing is that there are, there are thousands of women and children who have died because of the cuts,” he continued on “CNN NewsNight.”
While Scott Jennings was there to check Sellers, Khanna was instead cheered by Welch, who responded, “I love that we need to keep pushing the talking point that you just, had that we don’t need to celebrate Elon Musk making other people millionaires. If you are the party of pro-life, like you say you are, MAGA, he’s killing millions of the poorest people on the planet. So I think that hypocrisy there is something really stunning.”
As for a reaction from Musk, though he’d yet to respond to the latest allegation of responsibility for the deaths of millions, he did fire back at Khanna for continuing to push for taxing the trillionaire’s wealth to advance socialist programs, posting on X amid other commentary, “He’s such an evil liar.”

Really? Whatever was done by DOGE is public record. So all you are interested in is grandstanding. Otherwise, be specific about which programs have jeopardized the kids. 300K kids “missing” during the open border crime. Let’s have a war on trafficking & rescue any still alive.

The main thing that Musk dismantled by abolishing USAID was the kickback of funds to Democrats! It was a convoluted bypass of monies, meant for a good cause, that became a gravy train for the progressive opposition!
