A favorable ruling from the “hyper-partisan” Supreme Court didn’t stop the left from returning to their court-packing narrative with full-throated fearmongering.
“In the party of socialists and communism — it truly never is enough.”
Surprising few, the same Chief Justice John Roberts who preserved Obamacare by deeming the individual mandate a tax, came to the rescue of open border globalists, leading a 5-4 ruling against President Donald Trump’s executive order on birthright citizenship.
Along with their victory lap, congressional Democrats saw fit to resume their court-packing campaigning, with Congressional Progressive Caucus Chair Texas Rep. Greg Casar demonizing the “far-right justices … ruling against our rights.”
Standing behind a lectern bearing the message “BORN HERE / BELONG HERE,” the Squad member asserted, “While we won the case today, we also got a grave warning about the future. What should have been a simple, unanimous, open-and-shut decision was dangerously close,” as he proceeded to make his case leading the X account Western Lensman to conclude, “Rulings they like do absolutely nothing to slow down what they want to do to the court should they take power.”
The win isn’t enough. Democrats are angry that the Birthright Citizenship case wasn’t decided 9-0.
Casar: “We have to rein in this hyper-partisan Supreme Court.”

Casar claimed the dissent would have “allowed Donald Trump to rewrite the Constitution and overrule Congress with an executive order.”
“If these far-right justices are ruling against our rights, even when they are written down, black and white in the Constitution, then nothing we hold dear is safe,” who didn’t lose his backing from the Democratic Socialists of America until he opted against being a hardliner opposing Israel. “So, today we may breathe a sigh of relief. But we also recommit ourselves to the fight to protect the rights of all citizens. And the way we do that is by reigning in this hyper-partisan Supreme Court.”
Despite the claims of the left, the dissent did not make the case for a rewriting of the Constitution, but rather to make clear the intent of the language of the Fourteenth Amendment. Within the 91-page opinion from Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, he went over the relevant history and case history in supporting the position that it wasn’t until the 20th century that “executive practice repurposed the Citizenship Clause” toward birthright citizenship.
While Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and Bill Clinton held to that perspective, “Many in Congress disagreed with the Executive Branch’s view.”
“As late as the 1990s, Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) sponsored bipartisan legislation to clarify that the child of an illegal alien or temporary visitor would ‘not be a citizen of the United States or of any State solely by reason of physical presence within the United States at the moment of birth.’ … ‘No sane country,’ Senator Reid argued, would offer a ‘reward for being an illegal immigrant.'”
Thomas concluded in part that the majority, with its “self-defeating” reasoning, “has repurposed the Fourteenth Amendment to protect its own set of preferred rights that the Reconstruction Congress never contemplated and that cannot find support in its text. Today, the Court does so again by recognizing a constitutional right to citizenship for the children of all foreign birth tourists and illegal aliens.”
He also wrote, “The Citizenship Clause ‘added greatly to the dignity and glory of American citizenship.’ … Today’s opinion devalues that citizenship,” as he opined, “I am not sure that today’s opinion will stand the test of time.”
Likely recognized by the left, the final point signaled why court-packing remained the end goal, especially given the loss suffered Tuesday for the rainbow mob where it concerned girls’ and women’s sports.
We will know that the hyper-partisanship on the Supreme Court has ended when the Democrats win every decision unanimously.

Democrats / Socialists / Communists will never be satisfied until they control everything everywhere and all resistance is crushed.
They want the rest of us enslaved or dead.

This SCOTUS is anything but hyper-partisan.
Roberts and Barrett are proof enough of that. 🙄

That’s what Rush always said. Liberals are never satisfied. You can’t give them enough. They always want more so just don’t give them anything.

They must never be allowed to take power again

The battle against the Left is an existential one for America. If we lose it, we lose everything.
