The Democrats’ latest media-supported Orange Man Bad campaign, centered on tying President Donald J. Trump to the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, quickly backfired in their collective faces.
The orchestrated hoax included a wild claim that in 2017, while president of the United States, Trump managed to celebrate Thanksgiving with Epstein without anyone being the wiser. The president spent the holiday that year at his Mar-a-Lago residence surrounded by family.
U.S. Rep. Sean Casten (D-Ill.) was among those who disseminated the misinformation, with even the Democratic Party’s official X account propagating the lie — the party would quickly endure the embarrassment of being forced to delete the post.

The widely-debunked claim was based on Epstein vaguely mentioning Trump in an email exchange about his plans for Thanksgiving in 2017, according to documents released by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee.
There was also a claim that Trump “spent hours” with one of Epstein’s victims and allegedly “knew about the girls.” Curiously, Democrats redacted the victim’s name, the late Virginia Giuffre, even though earlier releases left her name intact. For the record, Giuffre was consistent in saying that Trump never touched her and never touched anyone she knew.
White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson was quick to debunk the wild claims, which were widely embraced by the left-leaning media.
“These emails prove literally nothing,” Jackson said. “Liberal outlets are desperately trying to use this Democrat distraction to talk about anything other than Democrats getting utterly defeated by President Trump in the shutdown fight.”
“We won’t be distracted, and the entire Administration will continue fulfilling the promises the President was elected on, including Making America Affordable Again,” she added.
Here’s a sampling of responses to what equates to the Democratic Party throwing everything, including the kitchen sink, at Trump in their fevered quest to destroy him, as seen on X:
this latest Epstein hoax reveals how absolutely unsalvageable the media is. they can’t change. the most cursory analysis of this latest dump easily debunked this mess. they truly may be the most discredited industry in history.

So, let me get this straight:
With the release of Epstein’s emails, we found out that
– Epstein hated Trump.
– Didn’t trust him.
– They weren’t friends.
– The NYT directly worked with Epstein to suppress stories about him.
– After Bradley Edwards (the lawyer for the…— Sólionath (@Anarseldain) November 13, 2025

Wow! They’re in deep shit.
Deleting the post doesn’t protect them.
If you publish a false accusation about a public figure, you’re still liable even after it’s deleted.
Trump has every right to sue the DNC for defamation and actual malice here.
Who thinks he should!!??♀️

What gets me is the confidence they have when posting something they clearly didn’t verify. It’s not about facts, it’s about planting a headline and hoping it does its damage before anyone checks.

Democrats need to start being asked why they are willfully spreading lies at this point. https://t.co/Ggy1mXr5PX
