The red carpet treatment for a Supreme Court justice’s discredited accuser continued in Hollywood with a star-studded event linked to the left’s usual suspects.
As an eight-figure ruling against former President Donald Trump proved, for some, sexual assault allegations have become a lucrative enterprise. Recent fanfare for Stanford University psychologist Christine Blasey Ford coinciding with the release of a memoir suggested as much as White House-tied celebrities threw her a party at West Hollywood’s restaurant Ardor Sunday.
Hosted in part by actress and member of President Joe Biden’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities Kerry Washington, Variety reported attendees celebrating Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser included Elizabeth Banks, Busy Phillips, Marisa Tomei as well as Monica Lewinsky and transgenderism-peddler Dylan Mulvaney.
Washington, who co-hosted the party with The Meteor co-founder Cindi Leive, Invisible Hand CEO Genevieve Roth, photographer Amanda de Caadent and Propper Daley CEO Greg Propper, was noted as saying in a speech, “We stand with you because you have stood with us so courageously, and we honor you and we celebrate you. We lift our glasses to you tonight.”
“To your courage, to your beauty, to your generosity as you continue to do more than you have to. You owe us nothing, and we owe you everything,” the actress added.
The party followed a recent media circuit for Ford as part of the March 19 release of “One Way Back: A Memoir” that described her Sept. 27, 2018 appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee as “some of the most credible and unforgettable testimony our country has ever witnessed.”
Shameless fawning over Ford included a message from Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ accuser Anita Hill. Read by Leive, the missive expressed, “Christine, you will always be to me the finest example of bravery and commitment to truth, even in the face of indifference and hostility.”
“Thank you for writing ‘One Way Back’…It is a testament to your honesty and your willingness to relive your painful experiences so that other victims of violence can be heard. Just as your testimony did in 2018, today, ‘One Way Back’ will pave the path for the healing and accountability that survivors desire and that they also deserve,” it continued.
Leive shared images from the event on social media with a caption that read in part, “Loved celebrating you on both coasts.”

When given the opportunity to speak, Ford, whom Hamilton Lincoln Law Institute Director of Litigation Ted Frank had noted “now charges ~$50,000 for a speech,” reportedly said, “It’s so nice to meet new people and new friends and allies and I just really look forward to speaking with you further while I’m here.”
“Thank you so much for reading the book and I hope you like it,” she added more than five years after Senate and FBI investigations found “no evidence” that supported made allegations against Kavanaugh.
Variety noted that the event was also supported by A Day of Unreasonable Conversation, Daley’s invitation-only annual gathering backed by organizations like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Bloomberg Philanthropies.
Speakers included Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock (D), Surgeon General Vivek Murthy and a conversation between Halle Berry and first lady Jill Biden.
