Democrats who lived in a rosy alternate universe under Joe Biden’s administration are now melting down over the disastrous economy he ushered in.
Of course, they are blaming President Donald Trump.
With a sudden attention to the price of eggs, among other things, Democrats are performing gymnastic feats to now accuse the 47th president for the state of the nation’s economy. They agreed with now-former President Biden’s continual claim that the economy was never better or that it was a myth that Americans were struggling to make ends meet.
Days into Trump’s second term, the left is trying to convince those same Americans that it is all the Republican leader’s fault.
The narrative they pushed about the economy for four years suddenly collapses four days into Trump’s presidency
It’s almost like they pushed a lie because they hate the dirty poors https://t.co/LqGgrZX7Kf

According to the US Department of Agriculture’s price outlook, egg prices “are predicted to increase 20.3 percent in 2025.”
The report noted that retail egg prices “increased by 8.4 percent in December 2024 and continue to experience volatile month-to-month changes,” adding that the ongoing avian flu outbreak that began in 2022 has been a major contributor to the elevated prices.
Headlines found a way to tie the economic outlook to Trump.
“Egg prices hit a new record the first week Trump was in office. Don’t expect them to drop in 2025,” reported the Independent.
“Trump Promised Cheaper Eggs—Can He Crack It?” asked Newsweek which claimed the president’s promise to lower grocery prices “shows early signs of faltering.”
“Well, Well, Well: Trump Can’t Lower Egg Prices After All,” The New Republic declared.
The latest meltdown over the economy after four years of celebrating the imaginary success of Bidenomics, dismissing the plight of Americans, is a stunning show of Democrat ignorance. And they seem to be hoping Americans will forget their denials as they point fingers at a president who is just stepping into his second week in office.
“Families are struggling to buy groceries while corporations continue to profit from price-gouging. But I know this doesn’t matter to President Trump and his billionaire friends,” far-left “Squad” member Rashida Tlaib wrote in a post on X.
Social media users ripped into the Michigan congresswoman for blaming minimum wages, price gouging, and even racism on Trump while never mentioning Biden.
You, Biden, and the rest of the dems had 4 years to do something! But you instead increased inflation and the eggs are expensive because you and Biden’s failed antiAmerican policies!

Other X users also blasted Democrats for suddenly caring about the economy.
BREAKING: New data shows that Democrats are still gaslighting. Thanks, Deranged Dems.

This is not true. Egg prices reached their peak price under the Biden administration. @CommunityNotes pic.twitter.com/e4UaN2gKhO

You have no idea how economics work. No action in the last 5 calendar days will have a direct impact on retail prices, clown.

Only a Democrat is stupid enough to think that eggs went up because of the last 4 days of Trump’s administration.
