In a sign that the Trump as Hitler narrative has been as much of a failure as “Bidenomics” Democrats are now looking to portray the GOP frontrunner as too old and mentally unfit for office.
You have to hand it to the party of lies with the shift to the new line of attack despite the geriatric Biden’s years of physical and verbal stumbles, and now the left has seized on the former president’s verbal slip by mistakenly subbing GOP rival Nikki Haley for former Speaker Nancy Pelosi during a speech over the weekend.
Flailing former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley lashed out at Trump in remarks that first ended up in a Biden-Harris campaign ad and then judging from their abundant usage, in the weekly talking points for Democrat operatives and their winged monkeys in the media.

“Can you imagine the field day @FoxNews and Trump would have had if @JoeBiden had gone on, at length, confusing Gavin Newsom with Kevin McCarthy?!??” David Axelrod, the former advisor to Barack Obama and political pundit wrote on X.

Former White House press secretary and MSNBC pundit Jen Psaki called Haley’s remarks “significant” no matter what happens in the New Hampshire primary, a clear sign that Trump’s age will be a focus of Democrats going forward.

Even Biden himself got in on the action in a text book example of the pot calling the kettle black.
I don’t agree with Nikki Haley on everything, but we agree on this much: She is not Nancy Pelosi. pic.twitter.com/hjNgmcrwAP

Haley certainly seems to think that she’s stuck electoral gold, sharing an article praising her as “the fireball from the heavens” who will wipe “dinosaurs” Trump and Biden out.
Honored to have earned the endorsement from the @UnionLeader!
“As the fictional Ian Malcolm says in Jurassic Park, ‘The dinosaurs had their shot, and nature selected them for extinction.’ The dinosaurs from the last two administrations have indeed had their shot…” Couldn’t… pic.twitter.com/wvimltxGTM

But some caution that such a strategy could backfire bigly.
“In a perfect world, it will nullify the age arguments against Biden, but if Democrats call attention to Trump‘s gaffes, they open the door for the same scrutiny of Biden,” Democratic strategist Basil Smikle is quoted by The Hill.
It was always absurd to liken Trump to the murderous former Nazi dictator but the old and mentally incapable of fulfilling the duties of president narrative could be a Dem disaster in the making.
