The Democrat resistance to Trump is entering a new and dangerous phase with the party now finding it acceptable to inflict pain on ordinary Americans to derail the new president’s efforts to dismantle their corruption.
Despite their overheated rhetoric previously directed at Republicans over government funding when Joe Biden was in office, Democrats have once again exposed themselves as colossal hypocrites with lawmakers now openly endorsing shutting down the federal government.
One of those ready to take the extreme measure is Sen. Andy Kim (D-NJ) who during a Sunday morning television appearance acknowledged that the embittered minority party is preparing to embark on a Kamikaze run at the White House to protest audits by the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) that have already unearthed widespread corruption at agencies that served as conduits for his party’s money laundering operations.

Kim discussed the party’s new strategy on NBC flagship “Meet the Press” where he regurgitated his party’s “constitutional crisis” talking point which was being repeated far and wide over the weekend, telling host Kristen Welker that the fake “crisis” would justify Democrat sabotage.
“I’ve worked in government. I’ve worked through multiple government shutdowns. I would be the last person who would want to get to that stage, but we are at a point where we are basically on the cusp of a constitutional crisis,” the hypocritical senator said. “Seeing this administration taking steps that are so clearly illegal.”
“For us to support government funding only for them to turn around and dismantle the government, that is something that should not be allowed,” he said.
Kim – a hard-core left-winger who replaced convicted felon “Gold Bar Bob” Menendez in the Senate – also insisted that the Trump administration is “doing China’s work for them” by gutting the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) which Musk and his team have shown to be the central money laundering conduit for a party that now functions more like a criminal syndicate than a political entity.
The senator didn’t disclose that he once worked for USAID and Welker didn’t bring it up.
X users reacted to Kim and his threat of a shutdown to stop Trump and Musk.
Imagine wanting to shut down the government over someone rooting out government corruption!
These are the worst positions to take, why do they keep taking them???

Senator Kim’s threat to shut down the government is a classic example of Democrat overreach.
They can’t accept that Trump won the election and is making changes.
Time for Democrats to work with MAGA and move America forward, not hold it hostage.

Disgusting how these @SenateDems and @HouseDemocrats are more appalled with @DOGE than they are with the wasteful spending, the robbing of the American people uncovered by their audit.

Also on Sunday morning, the Garden State’s other senator suggested that Democrats are ready to shut it all down to prevent further damage to their corrupt agencies and the lucrative racketeering operation that has made them all filthy rich.

“The strategy is to do whatever we can to stop Donald Trump…,” Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) told CNN activist anchor Dana Bash.
