Democrats in Des Moines, Iowa, are upset over the arrest of an illegal alien, allegedly packing a gun and a suspicious amount of cash, in their community.
The arrest of Guyanese national Ian Andre Roberts has sparked protests by leftists, some of whom you could also ironically find at gun control rallies when they’re not busy supporting illegal immigrants allegedly carrying illegal firearms. Roberts had been employed as the Superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools at the time of his arrest.
Watch:
BREAKING UPDATE: Democrats in Des Moines have come out in support of a superintendent who was arrested by ICE — a fugitive working illegally in the country, who fled from law enforcement and was found with an illegal firearm.

“This suspect was arrested in possession of a loaded weapon in a vehicle provided by Des Moines Public Schools after fleeing federal law enforcement,” read a statement from ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations St. Paul Field Office Director Sam Olson. “This should be a wake-up call for our communities to the great work that our officers are doing every day to remove public safety threats.”
But of course, the “nobody is above the law” people are protesting for the guy accused of breaking multiple laws, including ones they themselves vote for in the interest of ‘safety.’
X users couldn’t help themselves:
He had his due process! His final removal was ordered over a year ago.
He has a criminal record too…working with kids.
Despite the order, Iowa’s Republican Governor met with him.
She should have arrested him and held him for ICE ! pic.twitter.com/Qq6Ig9geD4

Seems like these protests “organically” show up everywhere there is a Democrat talking point.

And yet people wonder why parents don’t want to join the PTA. They have become an absolute joke nationally. We need Turning Point Chapters on every campus.

To volunteer at schools you need finger prints and a background check. This bad hire looks intentional.

They should be demanding the school board resign but instead they do this. Unreal.

It’s absurd that people are celebrating a man who skipped court hearings and was scheduled to be deported in 2024. Who’s had previous weapon charges was given a job of that magnitude of the first place.
