Dems triggered by Home Depot founder calling their way ‘lazy, fat, and stupid’

Back in December 2022, Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus expressed concern about the growing embrace of socialism in America, arguing that it results in a lack of motivation that’s harming the country.

“Nobody works,” he told the Financial Times. “‘Just give it to me. Send me money. I don’t want to work — I’m too lazy, I’m too fat, I’m too stupid.’ Nobody gives a damn.”

“I’m worried about capitalism,” Marcus added. “Capitalism is the basis of Home Depot [and] millions of people have earned this success and had success.”

Well, six months later, a triggered liberal proved the 93-year-old billionaire businessman right by finally catching wind of his concerns. A person under the name Erica Marsh, who claims in her Twitter bio that she’s “a former field organizer to elect President Biden,” shared Marcus’s remarks under a “breaking” news banner.

“BREAKING: The billionaire co-founder of Home Depot Bernie Marcus said that young people are fat, lazy and stupid with no motivation to work. Will you join me in never shopping at The Home Depot again?”

Not only is the call for a boycott a little late, but there’s also plenty of skepticism about whether “Erica” has ever seen the inside of a Home Depot — or even if she exists at all. All of which reinforces the “too lazy, too fat and too stupid” assertion.
