‘Desperate’ DNC will run billboard with ‘debunked’ Atlantic’s Hitler headline outside Trump rally

As enthusiasm for Vice President Kamala Harris wanes, Democrats are pulling out all the stops to malign her opponent.

A recent hit piece published by The Atlantic will be featured on a billboard outside of former President Donald Trump’s rally Thursday in Las Vegas. The board will be emblazoned with the controversial headline “Trump: ‘I Need the Kind of Generals That Hitler Had'” which reported on leaked comments from General John Kelly, who served as Trump’s chief-of-staff.

DNC Chair Jaime Harrison made a statement to Politico announcing the billboard.

“From threatening to turn the military on American citizens to praising Hitler, Donald Trump is a danger to American democracy. Trump is increasingly unstable, unhinged, and out for unchecked power through his Project 2025 agenda,” he said. “Trump already tried to overthrow the will of Nevada once and there’s no doubt he’ll try to do it again.”

Former White House chief of staff Nick Ayers was one of many who debunked the latest hit piece:
