Amid reported international cooperation, the Department of Homeland Security issued a reminder to hundreds of border-bound foreigners invoking the “disastrous” policies of the Biden era.
More par for the course than foreshadowing an October surprise, the first signs of a resumed foreign invasion have begun weeks ahead of what many expect to be a gavel-seizing victory for congressional Democrats in November.
While the globalist left may be giddy over the prospect of more huddled masses yearning for taxpayer-funded entitlements, DHS assured removals would be on the horizon as the days of President Joe Biden’s “‘catch and release’ are over.”
Monday, Fox News shared video of hundreds of foreigners who departed San Pedro Sula, Honduras, on September 20 en route to the United States’ southern border while referring to themselves as “Fe y Esperanza con Dios” — or Faith and Hope with God. The caravan is said to include mostly Ecuadorians, Haitians, Hondurans, Guatemalans and Salvadorans.
A migrant caravan numbering in the hundreds has crossed into Mexico and is moving north, with some travelers saying they hope to reach the United States.

In a statement to Fox News, DHS indicated, “[United States Border Patrol] is closely engaged with its international partners to monitor their movement and any additional developments.”
“USBP reminds migrants that under the leadership of President Trump and Homeland Secretary Mullin, the border has remained closed and secured for the last 16 months,” continued the statement that noted, “Migrants considering making the dangerous journey to our country should also be aware that the days of ‘catch and release’ are over, and Biden’s disastrous open border policy has been SEALED SHUT. Anyone attempting to illegally enter the United States will be apprehended, prosecuted, and removed from the country.”

Reaffirming this, DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin appeared on Newsmax’s “Carl Higbie Frontline” and expressed, “The caravan has zero chance of coming into our country.”
He detailed that the Mexican government is “also participating in helping to start break this caravan up. They understand that they’re gonna have a crisis on their border, not our border, because they’re not entering. We’ve made this very clear. We will flex with DOW, we’ll flex with assets we have in DHS, we’ll put the Coast Guard down there … not to mention we are building wall every single day.”

Likewise, White House senior deputy press secretary Lauren Bis told Newsweek, “The message to the caravan is you will not be allowed into our country. Our border is closed to lawbreakers. President Trump delivered the most secure border in history and has had 16 months of ZERO releases at the border. The days of catch and release are over.”
“Any illegal aliens who pay cartels to smuggle them in the United States should expect the same outcome: arrest, prosecution where appropriate, and immediate deportation,” she added.
Worth remembering, following the invasion of military-aged men into Spain’s autonomous city of Ceuta, located in the north of Morocco, President Donald Trump harkened back to the open border policies of his predecessor, who infamously insisted foreigners “surge” the border during the 2020 presidential campaign.
“The biggest thing, the worst thing that Biden did is allowing 25 million people into our country, because many of those people are criminals. They’re murderers,” said the president, who also expressed, “You know, I saw Spain yesterday, and I watched the catastrophe that took place. It was a catastrophe. It looks like an invasion of a country by hundreds of thousands of people, and that same thing is gonna happen to us if the Republicans don’t get elected — except worse.
