“Well, Jim – rather, William, you – I was thinking about -” Doocy said.
“William will do. Don’t live in the past,” Shatner joked.
“He just did a birthday message for a Jim!” co-host Ainsley Earhardt pointed out.
“What do you want to know, Dick? Dick, what do you want to know?” the actor chuckled.
Shatner, who played the famed Star Trek character James T. Kirk, now has a show titled “Aliens Among Us,” where he explores the possibility of extraterrestrial life on Earth.
“The mystery of life, we’re all tuned into. There’s no specificity. We don’t say, hey, here’s a piece of spaceship, but there are rumors the government has reverse-engineered things they’ve found, debris they’ve found that they think come from spaceships. But the mystery is why haven’t they landed on the White House ground and said, here we are and we got to stop the wars and the squabbling? There’s bigger things than that out there,” he said.
