When Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) posted a short video of her lecturing the world on Israel’s military action against terrorists in Gaza, little did she know she would set the internet on fire.
The “Squad” leader took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday to accuse the Jewish state of “ethnic cleansing” as it moves to crush the threat from Hamas once and for all. But during her rant, a peculiar sound was heard, leading to speculation that the socialist diva may have let one rip.
At about the 38-second mark of the clip from a longer interview of her appearance on the NYC-based “Ebro in the Morning” radio show, the audible sound of what many believe is a burst of flatulence is heard.
The United States’ responsibility is to human rights. That means supporting the safety of the Israeli people and preventing the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. pic.twitter.com/7CsuN6uO3w

The ideological leader of the modern incarnation of the Democratic Party and her fellow Green New Deal climate hysterics have made much noise about the menace of farting cows so it would be profoundly ironic if AOC indeed dropped an air biscuit on the air, similar to what her loopy colleague, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) was accused of doing during a 2019 MSNBC appearance.
As of Friday evening, the video remained up as speculation swirled over what could soon be dubbed as AOC’s Fartgate.
Ma’am you farted at 39 seconds in.
Am Yisrael Chai.

Why is there a fart noise at the 38/39 sec mark?

I woke up this morning with about a thousand DMs – I thought something big had happened.
But it was just AOC farting like a horse eating green apples on her video.

I legit thought this was the parody account first because of the fart sound but it’s real

There are a lot of important matters to discuss, but I would be remiss if I didn’t investigate this issue: Did @AOC fart in the middle of an interview? pic.twitter.com/Pnnx66hMfQ

“I would say that the United States, our responsibility is to the stability and the security of the region,” Ocasio-Cortez said in the clip. “That means being able to support…not…support yes Israel in its defensive capacities, right, and its abilities in that context.”
“But it also means that the United States has a responsibility to ensure accountability to human rights, to prevent the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, and to ensure that horrors do not happen in the names of victims who do not want their tragedy used to justify further violence and injustice,” she added.
If the congresswoman did indeed cut the cheese, some wiseacres might be inclined to suggest that it’s the most intelligent thing that’s ever come out of her.
