Joe Rogan summed up Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s effort to indict former President Donald Trump over a $130,000 hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels for what it is when he declared on the Wednesday episode of The Joe Rogan Experience that “they just don’t want him president again.”
Mixed martial artist Jorge Masvidal was his guest at the time and at one point Masvidal commented on the left’s latest effort to take down Trump, no matter what.
“Now what they’re trying to do to our boy Trump is f*cking nuts, bro,” he said.
“They’re talking about arresting him for paying a girl to stop talking about them having sex,” Rogan replied with a laugh. “I thought that was a good deal. I thought it’s a good deal. You pay someone — Didn’t (Bill) Clinton do that? Didn’t John Edwards got in trouble for doing that, but he didn’t go to jail. I don’t believe he went to jail.”
As might be expected, AP fact checkers came to Clinton’s defense here earlier this week, saying any comparison between money paid out by Trump and Clinton was misleading, noting that Clinton paid $850,000 payment to Paula Jones in 1998 to settle a civil lawsuit.
Masvidal chimed in to say that was the one Clinton “got caught in,” before adding, “How much other sh*t do we not know about? Why isn’t there no nothing on Bill Clinton on him being on Jeffrey Epstein’s f*cking charter f*cking plane? Numerous times.”
Twenty-six times, Rogan noted.
“That’s how you know that he’s doing something right,” Masvidal said, speaking of Trump. “The one dude that’s fighting for us, that’s actually for people. They want to crucify him.”
“But they just don’t want him president again,” Rogan said. “And they know that if he runs against Biden, Biden is so old, you know? And no matter what you think about his policies, you hear him talk. He’s so old. He’s so compromised.”
The conversation turned to the scandal-ridden Biden family, with a special emphasis on Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop from hell and how “crazy” it was that the media suppressed the information found therein prior to the 2020 election.
“They suppressed it off of Twitter,” Rogan said. “And the fact that the liberals keep saying that there’s nothing to that. Like, what are you talking about? If that was Trump, if that was Trump — and Donald Trump Jr. was doing street crack with hookers in Vietnam and getting foot jobs… he was getting money from China and Ukraine. I mean, it’s wild!”
Turning to the war in Ukraine, Masvidal said of the conflict with Russia, “I don’t think we should be poking our chest in there, starting possibly World War III.”
“It’s f*cking terrifying,” Rogan said. “It’s terrifying to me that the left are the ones that are behind this encouraging it, when the left was always anti-war.”
