‘Disgusting person’ Ilhan Omar could face censure over ‘vile’ remarks about Charlie Kirk

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is under fire over her reaction to the Charlie Kirk assassination.

On Monday, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) moved to censure Omar over the leftist lawmaker’s “vile comments mocking the assassination” of the beloved political activist.

“Ilhan Omar has shown us exactly who she is: someone who defends political violence and refuses to condemn the loss of innocent lives when it doesn’t suit her agenda, even the cold-blooded assassination of Charlie Kirk,” read a statement from Mace. “If you mock a political assassination and celebrate murder, you don’t get to keep your committee seat, you get consequences.”

Just one day after the world witnessed the murder of Kirk, who was gunned down at an event in Utah, Omar couldn’t help but talk trash about the man.

“There are a lot of people who are talking about him [Kirk], just wanting to have a civil debate. These people are full of s**t, and it’s important for us to call them out while we feel anger and sadness,” she said. “There is nothing more f—ked up than to pretend that his words and actions haven’t been recorded and in existence for the last decade or so.”

Later, she shared a video on X that slammed Democrats for “normalizing Kirk” and describing the deceased influencer as a “stochastic terrorist” and “reprehensible human being.”

Mace is demanding a House vote on her resolution.

On Monday, President Donald Trump appeared to back the efforts by giving Omar a dressing down of his own.

Watch:

“I think she’s a disgraceful person. You know, I think she’s a disgraceful person, a loser. It’s amazing the way people vote — I know it’s people from her area, maybe all over the world. They got here, and they vote her in. It’s hard to believe, but I think she’s a disgusting person,” he said from the Oval Office.
