Disney employee arrested, charged with 32 counts of child porn

Yet another Disney employee has been arrested for possession of child pornography, adding to an ongoing trend that has decimated the brand’s reputation.

Michael David Foster, 47, a former corrections officer who at the time of his arrest worked as a mechanic for Walt Disney World, was found to be in possession of child pornography after local police received a tip.

“On 12-16-23, Hernando County Sheriff’s detectives received information regarding the possible possession of child pornography by an individual who lives at 315 Zoller Street in Brooksville,” according to a Facebook post from the local sheriff’s office.

“Through investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Michael David Foster, a former corrections officer in Citrus County and a current overnight employee at Walt Disney World (mechanic),” the post continues.

After this, detectives seized a flash drive and a few SD cards from a backpack owned by Foster. The drive reportedly contained 32 images of child porn. Following this discovery, detectives executed a search warrant on his home and arrested him.

After his arrest, Foster admitted that he owned all the items and admitted to downloading and viewing child pornography. He’s since been hit with 32 charges of possession of child porn and a bond of $320,000.

“Additional charges are possible pending digital forensic analysis of all devices seized from Foster’s residence,” according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.

Foster isn’t the first Disney employee who’s been arrested for possessing child pornography or worse.

Back in June, a Florida sheriff famous for his takedowns of child predators nabbed eight new suspects — one of them a Disney employee again.

During a June 1st press conference, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd announced the arrest of the eight men.

“The sheriff’s office said the eight people included a Disney employee, workers for Publix and Best Buy, and a boudoir photographer,” Orlando station WKMG reported at the time.

“Officials say the suspects were possessing and/or distributing thousands of photos and videos of babies, toddlers and children being forced into sex acts or displayed in sexually explicit poses,” according to the station.

The Disney employee was identified as Paul Viel.

“He’s 40 from Davenport. He’s married. He works at Disney World at Cosmic Ray’s Restaurant. In fact, he just recently moved to Polk County from Indiana, and he moved here specifically to work at Disney World,” Judd said during the June 1st presser.

Why Disney World?

“You know, back in the day, they arrested Willie Sutton for robbing banks,” Judd continued. “He was a notorious bank robber. And they asked Willie Sutton, ‘Hey, Willie, why do you rob banks?’ And he said, ‘That’s where the money’s is.'”

“Well, why do people like Paul Viel work at Disney? Because that’s where the children are, and they want to be around children,” he added.

And evidently, the reason why he wanted to be around children is because he seemed to enjoy seeing them being forced into sexual activities.

“He had 540 counts of child pornography, from newborns to eight years of age,” Judd explained. “He also had videos. And he was a sadomasochist. There were photographs where they had tied up babies in preparation for sexual battery. There was one where a child was just weeks old where they had the child’s hands tied behind her back. Can you believe that? A very young child with her hands tied behind her back.”

“There’s videos of a three-to-six-month-olds being sexually battered by an adult male. His wife asked, ‘Did I marry a monster?’ Yes, you did. You married a monster. By the way, when we kicked the door in, he came to the door nude. Think about this for a minute. Photographs of children bound up, some with their hands tied behind their backs. Infants,” he added.

Meanwhile, a child predator sting conducted in the summer of 2022 nabbed one Disney World employee, as well as 11 others.

“Operation Child Protector II” resulted in 49 felony charges and the arrest of twelve men ranging in age from 20 to 67 after a two-week sting where detectives posed as children online to identify and investigate individuals preying on underage kids for sex and other unlawful sexual activities, the Florida Polk County Sheriff’s Office disclosed in a press release at the time.

Zachary Hudson, 30, a bus driver at Walt Disney World, unknowingly engaged with a detective posing as a 15-year-old girl between June 4 and 5 of last year. At one point the faux teen asked Hudson if he was OK with her age.

Police said he replied that it was no problem as long as “my being older doesn’t bother you.” Later, he reportedly told the girl that “age is just a number.”
