Disturbing video shows boy, 6, confronting cops after shooting teacher: ‘F–k you!’

Disturbing body cam video was released of a 6-year-old student being restrained after shooting his teacher in 2023.

The boy, only known as J.T., shot his teacher, Abby Zwerner, who ran from the classroom and collapsed in the school office at Richneck Elementary School in Virginia. J.T.’s classmates also fled the classroom after the shooting while J.T. remained.

Amy Kovac, a reading specialist, rushed into the room and held J.T. while police arrived at the scene.

“The gun is there,” Kovac tells officers in the video obtained by the Daily Press. “He just admitted that he had one.”

“Both y’all want a f—ing piece of me, b—?!” the boy tells the officers after they found the weapon.

Kovac tells him to “stop” while continuing to restrain him in a bear hug.

“F–k you, b*tch,” he responded.

The boy said that he “stole” the gun from his mom and at one point allegedly punched Kovac in the face.

“If you want a piece of me, come get it on, b—h. I don’t care if you call backup,” he’s heard telling the cops as Kovac tries to calm him. “I don’t care if I go to jail, b*tch.”

It didn’t take long for the newly released footage to circulate on X:

The three minutes of bodycam footage were introduced as an exhibit by the prosecution during May’s trial of former Richneck assistant principal Ebony Parker, who was facing eight felony child neglect counts tied to events before the shooting.

All of the charges were dismissed days later before the defense had to make its case.

Zwerner, who was severely injured in the shooting, was awarded $10 million following a civil trial against Parker which ended in November 2025.

J.T.’s mom, Deja Nicole Taylor, 29, was sent to state prison for child neglect and to federal prison for lying on her background check to purchase the gun that was used in the shooting.

Taylor was released from prison in February, and J.T. is living in the custody of his great-grandfather, the Daily Press reported.
