DNC reaffirms the Democratic Party’s commitment to discriminatory DEI

DEI may be toxic to the American people, but that isn’t about to deter the Democratic Party from continuing to support the discriminatory policies that have sparked a fierce backlash.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is holding its annual summer meeting in Minneapolis, and on Tuesday, the Resolutions Committee unanimously passed a resolution affirming what it called the “American Values” of diversity, equity, and inclusion, as the deeply unpopular party further immerses itself in the left-wing radicalism that led to its shellacking in last year’s election.

The resolution will face a Wednesday vote from the full 400-plus membership and is likely to be easily adopted at a time when the political winds have shifted against the institutionalized racism of the Biden administration and corporations are walking back the DEI policies that they enthusiastically embraced despite their obvious – and illegal – discrimination against white people.

Since taking office, President Donald J. Trump has set about righting the wrongs of the previous regime with a series of executive orders targeting DEI and radical gender ideology in the federal government, colleges and universities, and corporate America.

But Democrats aren’t about to abandon what has become a pseudo-religion to them, and they embrace it with a cultlike fervor. Just take it from one DNC delegate who proclaimed that DEI is the “foundation” of Christianity.

“These are American values. This is what America was built on,” he said. “And to my Republican friends and fellow citizens…who profess to be active Christians, I remind them that DEI is the very foundation of the Christian church. I get a little emotional on this, but Jesus loves little children, all the children of the world. Red and yellow, black and white,” a seeming reference to a classic hymn.

“This week’s DNC meeting has proven once again just how disconnected Democrats are from the values and priorities of everyday Americans,” RNC Communications Director Zach Parkinson told Fox News Digital.

“The DNC reaffirmed their party’s support for radical, racist DEI ideology and insulted Christians across the country by saying DEI is ‘the very foundation’ of Christianity. It’s no wonder Democrats’ approval rating is in the toilet,” he added.

Democrats went whole hog on DEI in the 2024 election, right up to the party’s candidate, Kamala Harris, becoming vice president solely based on the color of her skin, a strategic miscalculation that failed to read the rapidly changing attitude of the electorate and cost the party dearly.

The election ended with Republicans in control of the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives, but the steep losses haven’t deterred Democrats and their devotion to DEI one bit.

On the opening day of the DNC meeting, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who was Harris’ running mate on the doomed ticket, reiterated that the “D” in Democrat might as well stand for DEI.

“Tampon Tim” told the crowd, “We’re proud to be a diverse party. We are proud of the diversity of this country. We’re not shying away from diversity as a strength and equity as a goal, and inclusion being the air we breathe. That’s what we should be doing.”
