DNC’s 2024 autopsy suggests Kamala hung out to dry by White House, Jill Biden

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) finally released its highly anticipated report about what went wrong with the 2024 election that cost the party control of the White House and Senate, an electoral cataclysm of the Democrats’ own making.

On Thursday, embattled DNC chief Ken Martin sought to placate critics by making available the “incomplete” 192-page “autopsy” after months of delay and the suspicion of some that it was being deliberately quashed to not damage former Vice President Kamala Harris, the woeful nominee who was on the receiving end of a historic beatdown that sent President Donald J. Trump back to Washington. She is almost certainly going to run again in 2028.

The report suggests that one of the culprits in Harris’ defeat was former first lady Jill Biden, who stands accused of depriving her of precious resources that could have aided her in making the case to the American people that she was competent enough to run the country.

The draft dossier authored by veteran Democrat strategist Paul Rivera points the finger of blame at those loyal to former President Joe Biden, including his spouse, for focusing more on polling and research to support his reelection efforts than prepping Harris as his potential successor, a role that she was thrust into after Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi led a coup to oust the senile incumbent after his catastrophic performance in a nationally televised CNN debate with Trump.

“The 192-page dossier commissioned by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) reveals that the Biden White House ordered extensive polling on the settings, issues, and messaging Dr Jill should use to support her husband’s presidency,” according to the Daily Mail. “However, no equivalent research was ever commissioned for Harris, leaving pollsters scrambling to get three emergency studies into the field the moment Biden stepped aside in July 2024.”

Rivera called the failure to properly prep Harris a “massive missed opportunity” for the doomed candidate.

“As a result, at the moment of the candidate switch the polling team discovered there was no self-research on the Vice President to guide the development of the research instruments,” the report said. “An incumbent Vice President. With no research to share once she became the nominee.”

“Had the White House explored and evaluated ways to leverage Kamala Harris earlier in the administration, perhaps it would have improved the President’s standing, and it certainly could have helped prepare her to lead the ticket,” Rivera states.

The report suggests that Harris was hung out to dry by some in the administration despite the fact that she was a national laughingstock for more than three years before she was handed the nomination on a silver platter without having to compete in a single primary.

“The national campaign did not effectively drive Trump’s negatives, and the White House did not effectively support Vice President Harris over three and a half years to improve her standing before the candidate switch,” the report states, sugarcoating Harris’ own deficiencies, not the least of which being that she was seen as an inept, cackling buffoon.

It’s a real reach trying to spin Harris’ loss on Mrs. Biden, who, it was only natural, would devote her efforts to her husband’s reelection, considering how much she reveled in the celebrity of being the first lady and who never suspected that the former president’s own “friends” would be the ones who would trigger the trap door under his feet.

“For full transparency, I am releasing the report as we received it, in its entirety, unedited and unabridged,” Martin said on Thursday. “It does not meet my standards, and it won’t meet your standards, but I am doing this because people need to be able to trust the Democratic Party and trust our word.”
