DOJ to funnel Biden’s ‘trans’ money to cops and kids

The Trump Department of Justice (DOJ) has begun funneling money away from the Biden administration’s transgender and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) projects to cops and kids.

The DOJ has specifically begun moving money away from transgender- and DEI-related grants to grants “supporting law enforcement operations, combatting violent crime, protecting American children, supporting American victims of trafficking and sexual assault, and enhancing coordination among law enforcement at all levels of government.”

This was revealed in a letter sent last week by Attorney General Pam Bondi’s office to Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Chuck Grassley, as reported originally and exclusively by The Daily Wire.

The letter further revealed that this money was used to fund a number of insane “transgender” projects:

For example, $700,000 of taxpayer funds went toward a Wisconsin group to address “major types of violence/crime” against “transgender” people. This effort entailed “convening 23 listening sessions of trans survivors” and a “stakeholders advisory group” made up of “providers and trans community members.”

Another $200,000 was given to the so-called Diversity Center of Oklahoma “to provide culturally responsive services” to allegedly marginalized groups like “Black and Brown women, including Black transgender women.”

Worst of all, the Biden DOJ gave $250,000 to the Washington State Department of Corrections in 2022 to promote the housing of men who pretend to be women among actual women.

“The Biden administration kept the grant alive even after female inmate Mozzy Clark filed a lawsuit in December 2024 accusing a male prisoner who identifies as a female of repeatedly sexually assaulting her in a Washington State prison,” according to reporter Mary Margaret Olohan.

This specific grant’s goals included “hiring a Transgender Housing and Program Manager” and pushing to reduce “misconceptions among staff and incarcerated individuals about transgender and non-binary individuals.”

“This grant is intended to foster an environment that promotes sexual safety for all transgender and non-binary individuals remanded to the custody of DOC and serve as a change model for the rest of the nation to follow,” the grant read.

The only bad news was that the Biden DOJ’s grant recipients didn’t have to return their money and would retain the right to appeal their grant’s cancellation. However, they would no longer receive new money unless their appeal was successful.

This reallocation of funds demonstrated the stark ideological differences between the transgender- and DEI-obsessed Biden administration and the American people-focused Trump administration.

So did the Trump White House’s discretionary budget request for 2026. Released earlier this month, the budget called for hikes in border/defense spending coupled with massive cuts to the Biden administration’s “woke” funding priorities.

Contrast this with the Biden administration’s 2025 budget, which focused on inserting so-called “equity” into every branch of government.

“Over the last four years, government spending aggressively turned against the American people and trillions of our dollars were used to fund cultural Marxism … and even our own invasion,” Office and Management and Budget Director Russ Vought said in a statement.

“No agency was spared in the Left’s taxpayer-funded cultural revolution,” he continued, pointing to the total $315 million that the Biden administration spent “to push ‘intersectionality,’ ‘racial equity,’ and LGBTQIA+ programming for preschoolers.”

The White House also made sure the new budget would “defund the harmful ‘woke,’ Marxist agenda” of the prior administration.

“Every single agency across the Federal Government was engaged in funding and advancing DEI and other radical, harmful ideologies. … The Budget ends all of that,” a White House press release read.
