As the Trump family gears up to promote their new business venture, teenager Barron Trump was MIA.
Former President Donald Trump, Eric Trump, and Don Jr. all appeared in an X Spaces conversation to discuss cryptocurrency, but crypto entrepreneur Farokh Sarmad humorously noted that Barron wasn’t there.
“We took too long. We’re gonna try and get him back,” Sarmad said.
“Damned teenagers! I’m like the old boomer now – the grumpy old man with a white beard,” Don Jr. joked.

The former president joined the stream to introduce World Liberty Financial (WLF) and credited Barron with introducing the idea to him.
“Barron knows so much about this. Barron’s a young guy, but he knows – he talks about his [crypto] wallet, he’s got four wallets or something, and I’ll say ‘What is a wallet?’ But he knows it inside out,” Trump explained of his youngest son’s tech prowess.
A leaked business document reveals that Barron Trump will reportedly act as WLF’s “DeFi visionary”, standing for “decentralized finance” while Eric and Don Jr. act as the company’s “Web3 Ambassadors.” While his sons have promoted the new venture in their own ways, Trump discussed crypto in general during his campaign.
“We’re embracing the future with crypto, and leaving the slow and outdated big banks behind,” he wrote in an X post.
This is not the former president’s first foray into futuristic digital currencies. In 2023, he netted approximately $7.2 million through the trading of NFTs, or non-fungible tokens. Trump also credits Barron with this successful venture.
It is unclear when Barron will appear to publicly speak on his role in the new family business.
