Democrats have walked right into the trap that President Donald Trump set for them with his strong anti-crime action.
Sending the National Guard into the streets of Washington, D.C. to clean up crime has prompted other blue cities with high crime to respond by demanding that Trump stay away from their precious criminals. While it was originally just elected officials, now even the victims of violent crime are getting involved.
And they’re not on the side you’d think they would be on.
Dear @realDonaldTrump … I’ve been carjacked in Chicago with my arm broken. I still don’t want you or your troops here. TIA. BTW there are no red hats here. pic.twitter.com/f8NJ3xHL5O

Dear [Trump], I’ve been carjacked in Chicago with my arm broken. I still don’t want you or your troops here. TIA. BTW there are no red hats here,” wrote X user Jill Ciminillo, alongside photos of herself and her broken arm.
Needless to say, it didn’t take long for people to find her post and add their own commentary:
You win Jill!!! Dumbest post on X right now.

You’re honestly fighting steps to increase safety – in this case ones that don’t inhibit any personal freedoms.
I bet you loved the mask mandates though – didn’t you?

“Oh wow guys look I can smile after someone carjacked me, that means it’s okay!”
You know, sometimes just staying quiet is the best option.

This is Abused Spouse thinking. Sure, they broke my arm and trashed my car, and I know I could stop it, but I’m not because they love me. (They dont)
I’m sure there’s a Facebook group telling you you’re being strong with this, and I care enough to tell you, it’s not.

It would be interesting to learn where you draw the line. Would you give your very life for this cause of protecting violent carjackers?

Some couldn’t help but recall a certain saying by Jussie Smollett:
I was reliably informed that Chicago is “MAGA country.”
