El Salvador’s refusal to return alleged MS-13 member throws wolf-crying Dems into a tantrum

Democrats are freaking out that El Salvador won’t return a man despite the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) ruling on the deportation.

Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele is refusing to facilitate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, deported by President Donald Trump’s administration amid suspicion of MS-13 gang affiliation. When questioned by reporters on whether he’s going to abide by last week’s SCOTUS ruling ordering the return of Abrego Garcia to the United States, Bukele’s response was blunt.

“Of course I’m not going to do it,” he said.

Both Trump and Garcia have agreed that they lack the power to return Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national who had been residing in Maryland prior to his deportation, back to the U.S. Additionally, Bukele referred to the man as a “terrorist.”

“How could I return him to the United States? I smuggle him to the United States? Of course I’m not going to do it. The question is preposterous,” Bukele scoffed. “I don’t have the power to return him to the United States. I’m not releasing — I mean, we’re not very fond of releasing terrorists into our country.”

This angered Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who threw a temper tantrum over the president’s “nonsense” comment.

“President Bukele’s comment today is pure nonsense. The law is clear, due process was grossly violated, and the Supreme Court has clearly spoken that the Trump administration must facilitate and effectuate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia,” reads a statement from the lawmaker.

“He should be returned to the U.S. immediately. Due process and the rule of law are cornerstones of American society for citizens and noncitizens alike, and not to follow that is dangerous and outrageous. A threat to one is a threat to all.”

Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi also stomped her feet over the country’s decision not to return their own citizen.

“In the Oval Office, President Trump sat in silence as El Salvadoran President Bukele smeared Kilmar Abrego Garcia as a ‘terrorist.’ SCOTUS ordered his return—but instead, the Trump Administration is defying the law, disappearing people and yielding to a fellow tyrant at the expense of the victim’s family,” she wrote in her X post.

Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) joined in by vowing to go “check on Abrego Garcia’s condition” if Bukele won’t facilitate his return.

“I’ve been clear: if President Bukele doesn’t want to meet here in D.C., then I intend to go to El Salvador this week to check on Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s condition and discuss his release,” he said. “Kilmar was illegally ABDUCTED and deported by the Trump Admin. He must be brought home NOW.”

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) demanded the deported man be “brought home” to America.

“In defiance of the Supreme Court & without any evidence, the White House claims that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a ‘terrorist,’ who was ‘sent to the right place.’ This is a blatant LIE. He is innocent. He cannot be allowed to rot in an El Salvadorian jail. He must be brought home,” Sanders wrote.

Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) posted a breathless video decrying the “constitutional crisis” of Trump not forcing El Salvador to return Abrego Garcia.
