Emotional J.Lo backs Harris, internet questions her motive: ‘She warned us about Trump but not Diddy’

Vice President Kamala Harris trotted out embattled music mogul Diddy’s ex-girlfriend during a campaign rally Thursday in Las Vegas.

The ex-girlfriend, singer Jennifer Lopez, proceeded to endorse Harris in an emotional speech and also make a fuss over comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s crass joke about Puerto Rico.

Furthermore, she predictably trash-talked former President Donald Trump, warning rallygoers that he “has consistently worked to divide us.”

Listen:

“I promised myself I wouldn’t get emotional, but you know what, we should be emotional,” she began. “We should be upset. We should be scared and outraged. Our pain matters. We matter. [Trump is] the biggest adversary I think America has internally ever had.”

“[He] has consistently worked to divide us. At Madison Square Garden, he reminded us who he really is and how he really feels. It wasn’t just Puerto Ricans that were offended that day. It was every Latino in this country. It was humanity and anyone of decent character,” she added.

Lopez’s endorsement of Harris prompted critics to question her motives, with some even suggesting the endorsement might be related to her past with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who’s been accused of forcing drugged-up men and women to participate in sex parties at his lavish homes.

“If you were a regular at P Diddy’s parties, there’s a 100% chance you’ll endorse Kamala Harris,” one Twitter/X user posted.

Another critic, conservative comedian Terrence K. Williams, wondered why Lopez was so quick to warn the world about Trump yet had remained silent for decades about Diddy’s abusive ways:

“She warned us about Trump but not Diddy,” Williams tweeted. “She is concerned about the safety of little girls and women when it comes to Trump but not Diddy. She was dating Diddy and partied with him but she has nothing to say unless it’s about Trump.”

“Don’t you find this kind of Odd??” he added.

Lopez’s rally appearance came three days after someone asked her whether she had “any comments about Diddy” while she was signing autographs in Hollywood.

Instead of answering the question, she predictably fled the scene.

She dated Combs from 1999 to 2001 until they split reportedly because of his infidelity.

They were dating when Combs allegedly sexually assaulted a then-13-year-old girl in front of two unidentified celebrities, according to a recently filed lawsuit.

“A woman, who was 13 years old in 2000, when the alleged incident occurred, said she had gotten entry into one of Combs’ parties at a residence in New York following the Video Music Awards,” according to People magazine. “Upon arrival, she claims she was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement and was eventually drugged after being given a drink.”

“The accuser says she was later approached by Combs, who had a ‘crazed look in his eyes,’ who allegedly told her, ‘You are ready to party!,’ the complaint alleges. The accuser, who is now in her mid-30s, claims that at the party she was raped by an unnamed male celebrity, while an unnamed female celebrity watched, before Combs raped her,” People magazine’s reporting continued.
