A “woke” New York school board walked out on enraged parents Tuesday after the parents dared to raise concerns about a veritable softcore-porn LGBT book that’s been distributed to their children.
The book, “The Rainbow Parade,” tells the story of a young girl who attends a gay pride parade with her lesbian guardians.
According to reports, the book features naked men and women, in addition to drag queens and gay men wearing BDSM gear.

During the Penfield School Board hearing Tuesday, parents repeatedly tried to voice their concerns about the book.
“If you think that that’s appropriate for children to see, then there’s something wrong with you,” parent John Feathers argued, adding that one page of the book clearly shows a bare butt.
“And then if you go over on this side of the picture, there’s two guys standing in bondage right there. You need to have a mental evaluation. There’s no reason that should be in the schools whatsoever at all,” he continued.
But instead of listening to parents like Feathers, school district superintendent Tasha Tasha Potter began lecturing parents on the proper “procedure” to object to learning materials.
“We have the policy in place, the procedures in place to object,” she said, sparking loud, angry pushback from parents.
“That is not how you object,” she continued. “We will ask people who cannot do that to be removed. We are here at our board meeting. We’re conducting our business.”
That latter line really ticked off the parents.
“It’s our board meeting,” one parent shouted back.
School board president Emily Roberts then abruptly ended the hearing, sparking even more backlash, with parents yelling that the board members were “chickens” and “cowards.”
“The school board is just leaving,” one stunned parent said. “They’re just leaving. How do you just leave a school board meeting with a packed room?”

Kimberly DeRosa, one of the parents in attendance, later told The Daily Wire that the meeting was suddenly ended after “more than an hour of presentations celebrating Black History Month and the superintendent detailing the process of submitting objections to books in the school.”
She added that it was “a slap in the face to everyone there when the board members walked out before any public comments could be made.”
She continued by stressing that she and other parents want all pornographic-like books removed from their children’s schools.
“Moving forward, we want to see all sexually explicit material and dangerous ideology removed from schools,” she said. “Our children deserve a quality education and healthy learning environment. We, as a community, are more united than ever. We were the majority for the first time here.”

Concerns about “The Rainbow Parade” first emerged last month when a mother testified to the school board that her daughter was allowed to check it out of her school’s library.

Despite most parents sanely objecting to the book, the media did manage to find one insane mother, Maggie Rex, who supports it.
“I found it to be completely inoffensive,” the mother of three told Rochester station WHEC. “There are many, many parents in this district who really believe that a safe and welcoming environment for our kids is an incredibly important aspect of their educational freedom.”
