Ex-ESPN star likens JD Vance to ‘a demon,’ says she felt ‘ill’ sitting near him at Winter Olympics

A former ESPN host recently bemoaned sitting near Vice President JD Vance at the Winter Olympics in Italy.

Speaking on her podcast on Feb. 5, former ESPN host Sarah Spain cried about being forced to sit near top Trump administration officials while watching the U.S. women’s hockey team perform.

Spain described sitting near an empty part of the stadium when suddenly Vance and other Trump administration officials arrived.

“Twelve minutes into the first period, that area suddenly is awash with large men in suits with earpieces, and here comes JD Vance carrying a child and a bunch of security and eventually Marco Rubio,” she said. “When I see JD Vance’s eyeliner face, I literally feel ill. I said, ‘I feel like I just looked at a demon,’ like the devil, and I don’t even believe in that.”

“My body felt like when you have been spooked and you have a little tingle that feels like, ‘Oh, something’s not right,’ or like when you get in a situation and you feel like, ‘Oh, some of the energy’s bad, something could go wrong here, maybe I should get out of here,’ or ‘something’s dangerous, this doesn’t feel right.’ That’s what my body felt like. And I was in no way prepared to see him,” she added.

Spain subsequently posted a photo of Vance and his child to X and captioned it with the words “just vomited in my mouth.”

Why the psychotic rage? Partly because Spain is a fan of Alex Pretti, the left-wing extremist who was fatally shot by federal immigration authorities while interfering with their activities last month.

Spain specifically resented the fact that when Vance was recently asked by the biased propaganda press whether he wanted to apologize for Pretti’s death, he rightly declined.

“J.D. Vance refuses to apologize for lies about Alex Pretti,” she whined. “Like, this human being allegedly with demon energy is slandering a dead man who was shot in the back while helping a woman who was not fighting and was not dangerous and, at the very least, deserves not to be slandered in his death, but deserved much more than that.”

“But the idea that that person that was right there [at the Olympics] is responsible for so many of the foulest and most unempathetic, uncaring, inhumane behaviors from anyone in recent history was so disgusting to me, and it did make it both surreal and more real, the idea that just like just that dude right there has caused so much pain and terror and awfulness, and it made me so angry,” she added.

Spain went on to allege that Vance’s security detail had obstructed her view of the Olympic Games.

“You ruined it [the game] by drawing a ton of attention and then having thirty eight million Secret Service people surrounding you at all times, blocking every single angle,” she said.

She even complained about the paparazzi doing their jobs and, you know, taking photos of Vance and other Trump administration officials.

“The photographers were turned backs to the ice, not watching the action, and taking pictures of the presidential delegation doing God knows what, eating an apple, shoving a donut in their mouth, like cheering, being excited for a goal,” she said.

She was evidently offended that the photographers didn’t pay enough attention to the athletes performing. It should be noted that she supports men in dresses competing against biological women:

Spain is now facing criticism on social media.

“Why do twisted Trump Derangement Syndrome Lefties like @SarahSpain feel it necessary to hurt their careers by alienating 50% of America?” one critic wrote on the social media platform X.

“Stick to covering sports, sweetie,” another critic opined. “Stop acting like the privileged white liberal female that you are. You risk losing a large percentage of your podcast audience—though I doubt you’re THAT popular.”
